@adafruit taking Embedr for a spin is the crossover event we didn't know we needed! thanks so much for the love. ๐ see what all the fuss is about - try Embedr free at embedr.app
Got a chance to check out @embedrapp ... @ladyada & @ptorrone took it for a spin, will do a video later as we resume our vids for 2026 ... !
Embedr 0.3.9 is out!
โ Share projects via links or invites
โ Delegate reviews & sourcing to subagents
โ Persistent terminals for long-running tasks
โ Mechanical section views, exploded views & assembly guides
โ Improved PCB autorouting
Try it: embedr.app/download
your phone has microscopic moving machinery inside it.
that's how it senses acceleration and gravity.
MEMS engineering is insane.
Your battery voltage isn't telling you the full story.
Here's how a fuel gauge IC actually tracks battery charge, and why voltage alone isn't enough.
Built with Embedr. ๐
New in Embedr: ask the agent to simulate your circuit and the SPICE waveforms land right in the chat.
Plus fab drawings, Gerbers, BOM and pick-and-place generated from your board, 3D view without KiCad, and exploded enclosures.
Embedr v0.3.6 is out!
โข Boards designed to your fabโs limits
โข One-step autorouting
โข Cleaner schematic layouts
โข Faster 3D board views
โข Plan Mode turns questions into a build spec

Not every problem needs another LLM call. Some things should just work.
Agents are getting good at making schematics readable, but it takes them a lot of iterations to get there. We wanted to skip all that back-and-forth.
So we built a deterministic starting point: one pass over the netlist, same input, same drawing, in milliseconds.
And when the agent edits the netlist, new parts slot in. Nothing already placed moves.
Best part: you can open the exact same project inside Embedrโs full engineering environment and keep building from there.
ChatGPT can do WHAT now?
Yeah, it can now build you a real PCB you can actually order.
We built a ChatGPT plugin powered by @embedrappโs custom hardware tooling.
Coming soon to a chat near you.

what if you could vibe code hardware? just describe the device and the agent designs the schematic, routes the PCB, and explains every part
Had so much fun meeting everyone, learning what youโre building, and geeking out over hardware together.

A packed room of hardware founders and builders in Bangalore today.
Lots of ambitious things being built, shared, and debated.
Glad we could send over some Embedr merch + credits for the hang.
Big thanks to @alysha_lobo @CreativeGracey @Bhoomiarora_ for bringing everyone together.

Built this lil guy a while back (inspired by Embedrโs logo).
It reacts to your coding agents when they finish something or need permission, and you can flash this with your own firmware.
Kinda thinking of building 100 of these and just ship it to people on here for free.
Would you want one?
