Words cannot express how proud I am of these kids. They have worked so hard and it will pay off today! Win or Lose I guarantee everyone learned more through this project than an entire semester in the classroom! #gchsbuffs #1herd Thank you GC Downtown Vision for helping host!

Buffalo Business day at GCHS! Each business was funded, marketed and ran by students. Even though we had some hurdles the lessons learned made it worth it. #1herd

This is my why. The relationships I get to build with these kids is it. That’s all I need to keep showing up.

The best teacher I ever had was Mrs. Heckman in 2nd grade. She showered me with love during a year that I wasn’t sure I’d survive. #1herd

Just wanted to send a thank you to @GCHSbuffs for supporting our student entrepreneurs through the market fair last week! It was hectic and there were bumps but the experience will never be forgotten! Thanks also to all the teachers who put up with us!

Did I go a little overboard buying inspirational post-it’s? Maybe. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. (Is my inner voice now Elyse Myers?) absolutely. 😂
