Canada is bringing in approx 20000 temporary foreign workers monthly. As of October 2026, Canada has recorded a net loss of approximately 45,900 jobs for the year to date, Canada loses net 4,700 jobs in October, jobless rate rises to 6.7%. Canadian workes are being replaced by foreign workers.

I am shocked and disgusted by the story of Captain Ken Kunkel who was assaulted by two kids and this woman while supervising air cadets selling poppies. He’s now undergone emergency spinal surgery and may never walk again.
The 11 year old who did this can’t be charged, and the 12 year old will get some minor penalty. This is not justice. The youth criminal justice act needs serious reform.
Who are these kids? Who are their parents?
What punishments can we apply to violent youth crime?
If you’re old enough and strong enough to kick and stomp a full grown man on the ground such that he is paralyzed - you’re old enough to face justice.
We need to know their names, and their parents’ names. This shameful behaviour needs to be exposed. Every element of social and peer pressure should be used to shame families involved in this behaviour. All kids do stupid things, even kids of good parents. But if your 11 year old
is assaulting and paralyzing a grown man, that’s on you parents. Something went wrong years ago.
This is not justice, and we’re seeing an uptick in gangs deliberately using underage kids to commit shockingly violent crimes because they’re not tried as adults.
There’s plenty of kids that know this and laugh. For people who laugh off decency and restraint, the corresponding punishment should do the same. This 11 year old can change this Captain’s life, and that of his wife, kids and grandchildren forever, and yet his life will go on as usual. Absolutely shocking and disgusting. If you can deliberately and maliciously destroy someone’s life, there must be some degree of accountability from either you or your parents, even if you’re 11.
We have 11 year olds assaulting teachers in schools as well. Time to bring back corporal punishment.
Praying for a speedy recovery for Captain Kunkel.

Albertans, why are we accepting that Danielle Smith’s government continues to offer mRNA COVID-19 vaccines?
On January 3, 2024, Florida’s Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, publicly called for a halt to their use, citing serious concerns about residual DNA, potential genetic risks and vaccine safety.
That was nearly three years ago.
Yet here in Alberta, these vaccines remain available.
And this brings me to something that has been infuriating me for quite some time.
Why are we so willing to overlook decisions we find unacceptable simply because the government making them happens to be the party we support?
We can fiercely oppose something when one political party does it, yet become remarkably forgiving when it’s our preferred party making the same decision.
Suddenly, we’re reminded of all the good things the government has done and how much worse the alternative would be, as though that somehow settles the matter.
I’m sorry, but since when did being the better alternative become the standard we should be satisfied with?
I don’t expect perfection from any government. I understand that compromise is sometimes necessary. But there’s an enormous difference between accepting that we can’t have everything we want and compromising the very principles we claim to stand for.
Have we become so accustomed to settling for whatever we can get that we’ve forgotten we’re entitled to expect more?
We can appreciate what a government gets right without making excuses for what we believe it gets terribly wrong.
Our elected representatives work for us. We don’t owe them unconditional loyalty.
If we’re only willing to hold the other side accountable, are we really standing on principle at all?
As I said in January 2024, no one should be taking mRNA COVID-19 vaccines because of their terrible safety profile. But for those who had to take one, Florida’s public health data strongly implies that thousands of Floridians died as a result of receiving Pfizer instead of Moderna. The number of lives lost in the U.S. and internationally is staggering, based on this analysis. The culture of approving vaccines without adequate safety testing and assuming “innocent until proven guilty” with these products absolutely, positively needs to end.

A 72-year-old woman hit a $2.55 MILLION jackpot on a slot machine at an Atlantic City casino. Other players celebrated and called her a millionaire. Then security arrived, the machine displayed an error message, and the casino offered her $350 instead.
– Roney Beal was a regular casino visitor from Shamong Township, New Jersey.
– On February 25, 2024, she visited Bally’s Casino in Atlantic City and started playing a Wheel of Fortune slot machine.
– She had already put hundreds of dollars into the machine.
– Suddenly, the machine announced that she was a winner. Gold coins appeared on the screen.
– The jackpot showed more than $1.27 MILLION.
– But she had also hit a 2x multiplier, which brought the total to $2,555,908.70.
– Another player standing nearby celebrated and told her she was a millionaire.
– Beal was excited. She believed she had just won the money that could change her life.
– She pressed the service button to call an attendant.
– That’s when things changed.
– Security personnel arrived, and the machine displayed a message reading “REEL TILT.”
– Casino employees told her the machine had malfunctioned and that she had not actually won the jackpot.
– An attendant then opened the machine, pushed several buttons and spun the reels again.
– Beal objected to what the employee was doing. She later accused casino staff of interfering with the machine before anyone else could independently inspect it.
– The casino eventually told her that her actual winnings were only around $350.
– She refused to accept that as the answer and hired attorney Michael DiCroce.
– Beal filed a lawsuit against Bally’s and the slot machine manufacturer, International Game Technology, seeking the jackpot she believed she had won.
– Her lawyer argued that the casino should preserve the machine and its surveillance footage so independent experts could investigate what happened.
– Bally’s referred questions to IGT, while IGT said it was cooperating with the investigation.
– In August 2025, a federal judge ordered the lawsuit to be put on hold while New Jersey gaming regulators completed their investigation.
– The judge did NOT rule that Beal had lost her case. The lawsuit was administratively terminated, not dismissed.
Roney Beal went to a casino, watched a slot machine announce a $2.55 MILLION jackpot, celebrated with other players, and then watched the casino turn around and tell her she had won just $350.
