It has been a year since the kidnapping of the journalist Muammar Ibrahim by the RSF militia. He was the only journalist reporting on ground during the siege. He didn’t have any political affiliation. He simply reported the truth. #KeepEyesOnSudan

I’ve spent years working to put myself through school, and now, after finally completing my degree, I’m facing the possibility of homelessness. I’m asking for help to secure a place to live and start over. Any contribution or repost would mean so much. ❤️ oncrowdr.com/explore/c/help-…

do you want to keep the name you were born into or what?? if you don’t, that’s your business, but someone of us want to have the identity we always had preserved.
no way did i just read that keeping your father’s last name is less patriarchal than taking your husband’s last name. babe that’s the same patriarchy

Absolutely. It was a devastating day. I think what hurts the most is the deliberate disregard and ignorance of the international community even though we have warned for a year, and to this day no tangible measures were taken to bring justice. It’s almost like nth happened.
For many of us, October 26 is even more painful than the day the war began. The people of El Fasher did everything they could to survive an 18-month siege of starvation and bombardment, one of the longest urban sieges in modern warfare.

antihistamines and mood stabilisers is taking on a new meaning now
This is a small case series of patients with refractory neuropsychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD and more, who experienced significant improvement after subsequent diagnosis and treatment of MCAS. While the average person still thinks that histamine for example is just something related to allergies, let’s not forget that histamine acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain, influencing things such as arousal, attention, mood, sleep, and motivation. So when levels build up it can create: -Restlessness and physical + mental hyperactivity -Difficulty concentrating, brain fog, inattention -Irritability, impulsivity, or agitation -Sleep disturbances (insomnia or poor sleep quality) -Anxiety or sensory sensitivities -Hyper arousal -Racing thoughts, anxiety/panic, or restlessness -Insomnia or disrupted sleep cycles (common in manic phases) -Depressive symptoms (fatigue, brain fog, low motivation) during crashes -Emotional lability or energy fluctuations Of course, we don’t pull all these out of our asses. There are more reports noting that histamine flares can mimic manic/depressive episodes, and MCAS patients sometimes receive initial bipolar diagnoses.

Ewo the matter long. She was tricked back to Naija ni o. The man said they needed to enroll their older daughter into a boarding school in Nigeria for proper Islamic upbringing and what not, she agreed. Then he said they will all come back to Nigeria for the daughter’s enrollment so she can settle in properly. He followed her back to Nigeria, they stayed in Ibadan. Then the next day she went to visit her parents in Osun state with the kids and spent 7days. She came back to Ibadan to his absence. He didn’t even enroll the daughter in the school before going back. She called his work place in Uk and they confirmed he has returned to work. Afterwards he sent her divorced papers via WhatsApp 😭

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM YOUR LOCAL CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST For those who don’t know what this recent PHP security vulnerability means: This affects most public facing websites. These vulnerabilities can allow someone to gain access to most websites and their hosting server. That could give them access to sensitive information and/or creds. That is a serious problem. Companies are working on patching this immediately. But if someone already got in, patching the vulnerability isn't enough. Backdoors could still be there and you can't take back already stolen data. The part I am most concerned about. Do these companies have the knowledge, staff, and information needed to properly investigate whether someone got in before they applied the fix? Most don't. You are going to hear things like "your data was encrypted" this does not automatically mean it was safe. If someone controls the service that can decrypt that information, or the attacker has plenty of time and resources on their hands, the information can be decrypted. This can also affect apps and other services that rely on these connections. How far an attacker can get depends on what those servers can access and how well the company has separated its systems. From many years of experience, most companies don't have good security posture. FOR THE REGULAR NONTECHNICAL PERSON: Don’t assume every account you have was hacked. This is a REALLY good time to pay attention and get your account security in order. SO: Keep an eye out for breach notices and unusual login activity. If you get an unexpected message telling you to reset your password, go to the company’s website or app directly. Don’t blindly trust or click links in emails. Fake security warnings will ramp up to take advantage of peoples fear. Stop reusing passwords, ESPECIALLY THE SAME PASSWORD OR A VARIATION OF IT. Use a different password for each account, and turn on multifactor authentication wherever possible. Start with your email. If a company tells you your password was exposed, change it there and anywhere else you used the same or a similar one. Being a regular person does not mean you’ll be ignored. A lot of account attacks are automated. Someone doesn’t need to know who you are to try your and a thousand other peoples stolen login on a hundred other websites simultaneously. If you have ANY questions or need any help what so ever please let me know.

One confirmed Ebola case in Abuja. She's isolated. It's not airborne, and nobody can give it to you before their symptoms start. Fever after travel or contact with someone sick? Skip the chemist. Call NCDC 6232 first. And abeg, no salt water. Share to save lives

As if we’re not all using the same app. Anybody can be a troll, regardless of whether I made the tweet or not. You people just want to blame me for this because apparently, “i set her up” by saying I’ve never done a birthday shoot.

6 Years Later! We are still dealing with Insecurity, hunger, poverty, lack of proper health care and the highest level of corruption and impunity. The saddest part is that we are even more divided as a people at a time when we should be most united. I hope one day we truly realize the power that we have as citizens and stop allowing a few selfish individuals destroy the success and prosperity of the majority of us. Till then, ✌🏾 and 🤍

You lot always have to make everything a “but men” since when the fuck are men the standard for anything? And why would you want them to be? They are telling you to not be financially dependent on a man and stop getting into transactional relationships, you dey do ‘but men’ okay.
