Todd Blanche just told the country that Stephen Miller has the entire Justice Department as his lawyer. That’s a remarkable promise to make before Congress has even begun its investigations. Federal lawyers can defend officials acting lawfully in their jobs. They cannot turn the DOJ into a personal defense firm or make congressional oversight disappear. Blanche used to be Trump’s private attorney. Apparently, he still struggles with the distinction between representing a client and serving the public. The taxpayers pay for a Department of Justice, not Stephen Miller’s legal retainer.

Trump: Lightweight Congressman Ted Lieu, one of the least respected in Washington, D.C., made a knowingly malicious, false, and defamatory statement that I wanted to change the name of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to the Trump Reflecting Pool. Ted Lieu knows that I said it in a jocular manner, and added, immediately after, "Don't worry, I'm only joking." All of the gathered Reporters laughed. But "Lightweight" Lieu, his new moniker, didn't add the line that I'm only joking because he is a FRAUD. This was done at a News Conference, and even the Media was aghast that Lieu would have lied like that. He's a Third Rate Congressman, and always will be!
