My plans for this Saturday are set in stone!!!
@ElkinsCattleCo
Grilled Shrimp
I used @DadsSeasonings Island Umami and Bachans Original Japanese BBQ as a dipping sauce.
This was a huge hit and my family loved it. Served with rice.

BIG Shoutout and a heartfelt Thank You to @GeorgeWhit30059
I'm making your pieces now!!
Thanks so much for your support!! 💯💗👊
It's time for "give a smoked pork shoulder away to a neighbor or friend since I've been to Costco and they come in two" day.
Off tomorrow....it's also "clean the damn garage" day and "get ready for winter" day....the shoulder will be fun to watch while I catch up on chores.

It seems I've learned everything I need to know about chicken wings, but was afraid to ask, since I've been following the BBQ herd on X.
I've smoked, soaked, brined,seared, grilled.,etc.
I think I'll always lean on the standard grilled... especially with all of the amazing spices/rubs and sauces that can be found on X.
No sauce wings seasoned with Dad's Adobo and SPG
Grilled....of course
I absolutely love white sauce...in just about everything
Must love mayo.
I love spatchcocked or grilled chicken, dredged in this Alabama white barbecue sauce. Now I prefer it really thick. If you want a thinner sauce, add a little more apple cider vinegar
ALABAMA WHITE BBQ SAUCE
INGREDIENTS
• 3½ cups mayonnaise (I use Duke’s)
• 2 tbsp garlic paste
• 1 tsp chipotle powder
• 3 tbsp sriracha
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1½ tsp kosher salt
• ¼ cup honey or corn syrup
• 1 cup apple cider vinegar
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and whisk until smooth.
Serve with chicken or pork, or use as a dipping sauce.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
COLESLAW DRESSING VARIATION
Whisk 1 tbsp celery seed and 2 tbsp honey Dijon mustard into the leftover sauce. Toss with your favorite coleslaw mix.
