COMEBACK INTERVIEW #YOUNGJAE 💬: tws opens up about the advice they've received from their seniors, svt. 🐶: it wasn’t simply because i was a junior, they treated me with affection as if i were their own younger sibling. i had injured my leg at the time, and they even worried about me, saying i seemed to be in pain 💬: youngjae also cited svt’s precise choreography, intricate stage presence, live performances, and in-house production capabilities as things he wants to learn. 🐶: they have set a great example and paved the way so well that i am learning by watching them. if we get direct juniors, we want to become cool seniors who treat them just as seventeen looks at tws. 💬: writing the lyrics 🐶: just like the title of this title track, i wrote the lyrics thinking of it as a response song to the 42s who call out the name tws. there were so many moments when the 42s called out our names, so i think i approached it with the idea of writing a response song to that 💬: youngjae considers learning to understand himself, his strengths, and his individuality as an artist his biggest growth. 🐶: in my case, i think i have learned a lot about how to design who I am with ease. in the early days of my debut, i didn't know as much as i do now. i thought i knew what suited me and what i was good at, but that wasn't the case. now, i feel like i have become much more accustomed to designing who i am 💬: their biggest goal is to become a team that can look back on their journey with pride, even as they dream of performing on bigger stages. 🐶: when we were rookies, everything was new and there were many things we didn't know, but now i think we need to show a performance befitting our third and fourth years. we must maintain the passion and mindset we had as rookies while always doing our best. we have learned and felt a lot over the years, and we have gained a sense of composure as a result 💬: youngjae emphasized the heavier sense of responsibility he feels as he approaches his fourth year since debut. 🐶: once we pass the third anniversary, we will enter our fourth year. i think we are at a stage where we can no longer be considered complete rookies. i feel that i must approach things with that much greater responsibility 💬: i'm curious about the criteria you used to create the unit songs first unveiled at the concert. what were each other's strengths that you discovered while working on the unit? 🐶: i performed with hanjin participated as much as possible in every aspect i could, such as composition, lyrics, and direction. it was the same for hanjin. hanjin is a member who has consistently worked hard on lyrics, and while working together in the unit, he filled in the gaps and helped me a lot in that area. i received a lot of help in that regard 💬: where do you think tws' teamwork comes from? have there been any changes as you enter your third year since debut? 🐶: while there are various categories for teamwork, personally, i believe it comes from trial and error. this album is also about dealing with that trial and error. since all six members are human, i don't think we can be 100% compatible. nevertheless, we have a clear goal to achieve together, rather than focusing on the parts where we don't quite fit. i think that in the process of moving toward the same dream, trial and error can actually be a factor in building good teamwork+
