SNOOPYWEEN

i didn't go through 24 years of trying to accept my sexuality for what it was just to be questioned by a twt user that doesn't know me. i'm sorry if i come off as defensive but i've been anticipating a question like this because you're not allowed to exist as a lesbian without being evaluated by strangers deciding if you're "lesbian enough" in their eyes. you don't know what goes on inside my head, what experiences i have, what labels i've put on myself throughout my life until finally finding one that feels right, even though it was very hard to accept. it is okay to be bi, i identified as such for a few years until i finally let go of my fears and internalized bs and claimed a label that feels true to me. if you know me, you know i'm lesbian. even my parents knew i was lesbian before i did. i was in denial for so long bcuz i was scared that by coming out, i'd be socially isolated, and i definetaly feel that isolation very often. i've cried so so many times, wishing and praying that i could be attracted to men just so i could fit in and not feel so alienated, but i can't change who i am. i'm sorry but this really hit a nerve. it upsets me on a personal level but also in general because why tf is it always queer women being invalidated? bi women are called straight constantly and lesbian women get fucking witch hunted by people trying to convince them and everyone else that they aren't lesbian? it's suffocating. if i still don't seem "lesbian enough" to you then... idk what to tell u. u thinking i'm not lesbian doesn't erase the fact that i am, so u can think what u want.
