We should really rename our role from "Software Engineer" or "Software Developer" to "Software Baker" 🤔 Think about it: we pour the right ingredients into a Owen (Agents) and we just make sure the after the "Ding" they are delicious

Telling Claude to do interactive HTML prototype of an idea is single best thing to do. You save tokens, you don't overcommit to an idea, and the results are impressive

TIL the hard way that Arch distros (I'm looking at you @omarchy) store /tmp in RAM by default. Up to half of RAM 🤯 ...some good reasons behind it, but still can pretty screw Ubuntu guy's day.

I recommend everyone upgrade Ruby immediately. This is a DoS and RCE vector if you accept user input into Regexp.new() ruby-lang.org/en/news/2026/1…

switched to @omarchy for this week I must say not bad. Took a bit to get used to the flow but now I'm really into it. Good job everyone involved, many thanks.

so, I'm still paying for RubyMine 😬 Not because I need an IDE (last time I seriously wrote some code was in 2025) but because RubyMine has the most amazing code navigation capabilities and from time to time I want to understand internals of a codebase (you know, the thing we are no longer doing: reading code 🤓) . I literally paid 8 EUR/month just to jump around files. Today I was fed up with the fact how much memory Ruby Mine consume just so I can read some files and just created my own solution in Rust, and behold! Rubyscope was born ! It's NOT an IDE, It's NOT an editor, it's a file browsing tool for Rails codebases ...open-sourcing soon ✌️ @rails

I just realize something about Rails projects that use local storage & SQLite: You can configure is so that each worktree gets own ./storage copy (so own db + stored files) ...not only that but under `btrfs` cp -a --reflink=always extra space until first change 🤯

I have gained a special respect for @omarchy for adding this in in their default setup🫡

"it doesn't matter what model you use, they all do pretty much the same job" ...yeah, ...no, ...not really Know your model :)

great point:
slop can travel halfway around the world while craft is still putting on its shoes

from my macbook connected to Linux machine prompting it to build an iOS app from my macbook so it lands on an iPhone that is in another room (prompt is "build on my iphone" supported by few lines in Agents.md)
