The catholic faith has always magnified God through architecture
Nothing beats baroque art. My faith is the faith which built this.

🚨🇮🇹 Meanwhile in Italy
The 400 Year Old Monastery of Bernaga has just been burned to ashes & now lies in ruins.
Thankfully all the Nuns escaped the blaze.
All these fires can’t simply be by accident - they keep on happening almost daily.
For anyone that was curious, I based my drawing of Joan of Arc on her descendant Clotilde d’Arc. I did get a few inquiries about this.

Ames is reporting on protests in Florence again.
People must protect that cathedral.
UPDATE:
The group protesting today is supposedly marching over failed education. In the recent past, this group tends to be much calmer, we'll see. One thing that's being reported in the local news is that the Duomo has been totally secured by police, so the marchers are now heading toward Fortezza da Basso and Piazza Indipendenza.
Here's a map I had AI draw up to give you guys an idea of where everything is located.

“Saint Joan of Arc, Warrior of God”
Charcoal on paper, 18 × 24 inches. Available at: ericarmusik.com/workszoom/67…
What began as a drawing a few days ago has become a tribute to one of the greatest heroines in the history of France and the Catholic Church.
Saint Joan was a young woman who answered God’s call with extraordinary courage, placing her faith above fear and her obedience to God above the threats of men. She led armies, inspired a nation, and remained steadfast in her mission even in the face of suffering and death.
As I worked on this drawing, I found myself thinking about Joan and her beloved France, and how desperately we need her courage and intercession today.
Saint Joan of Arc, pray for France. Pray for the restoration of faith, the defeat of tyranny, and the courage for men and women to stand firmly for truth, justice, and the law of God.
Saint Joan of Arc, Warrior of God, pray for us!

Today, October 25, is the Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King in the traditional Roman Catholic calendar.
Prints of this painting are available through my website at: ericarmusik.com/workszoom/47…
In 2023, I painted this image of Christ the King as a reminder that Our Lord’s kingship extends far beyond the walls of our churches. He is King of our families, our nations, and all human society. His authority is eternal, His truth unchanging, and His reign without end.
Christus Vincit, Christus Regnat, Christus Imperat!
Christ conquers, Christ reigns, Christ commands!
In a world that increasingly rejects the authority of God, we must never be afraid to proclaim the sovereignty of Jesus Christ. Our Lord does not merely wish to be welcomed into our hearts. He is the King to whom every nation and every soul must ultimately answer.
May Christ reign in our homes, guide our fathers, strengthen our families, and restore all things in Himself.
Vivat Christus Rex! Long live Christ the King!

The vices of the people are always reflected in their leaders. When the leaders abandon virtue, the entire state suffers.

I hate graffiti and the people that do this to private property.
The War on Beauty made a point yesterday than manners and politeness have led to the decay of Western culture. I agree and look at graffiti as a symbol of this decline.
A civil society should not tolerate this type of behavior. It leads to blight, to a good section of town versus a bad section of town.
Neighborhoods that do not tolerate it will be more valuable and have nicer amenities for its residents.
Beautiful old building that has been defiled by the lowest level of citizens.

Saint Joan of Arc Drawing | Day 3
Today, I continued work on my large charcoal drawing of Saint Joan of Arc, 18 x 24 inches, by beginning to draw Reims Cathedral into the composition. The drawing will be finished and available this weekend.
Reims holds a special place in the story of Saint Joan. It was here that Charles VII was crowned King of France in 1429, fulfilling the mission Joan believed God had entrusted to her.
As the architecture takes shape, the drawing begins to tell more of her story. Joan was not merely a young woman who took up arms. She was a woman of extraordinary faith and courage who stood against overwhelming odds, trusting in God when others doubted.
May Saint Joan of Arc intercede for France and for all nations suffering under tyranny and lawlessness. May her example inspire us to defend what is good, remain steadfast in our faith, and never surrender to fear when truth and justice are at stake.
Saint Joan of Arc, pray for us!

The supreme Hope of France is in the Sacred Heart.
Today I continued my large charcoal drawing of Saint Joan of Arc, 18 x 24” on paper, beginning work on her armor and the flag she carried into battle.
There is something deeply moving about bringing this young saint to life through drawing. A peasant girl who answered the call of God, she rose to lead armies, defend her beloved France, and stand fearlessly against forces far greater than herself. Her courage was not born of worldly power, but of faith, conviction, and an unwavering trust in Divine Providence.
As I work on this drawing, I find myself thinking more and more about France and the struggles facing her people today. Saint Joan reminds us that nations are worth fighting for, that truth must not be surrendered to tyranny, and that courage begins with a willingness to answer God’s call, even when the cost is great.
Saint Joan of Arc, pray for France. Intercede for her people, that they may find the courage to stand against tyranny and lawlessness, return to their Christian roots, and reclaim the faith that helped shape their nation.
Saint Joan, pray for us, and teach us to stand firm in the face of adversity.

We must smash the matriarchy and restore the patriarchy.
The disease of the West is NOT “suicidal empathy”.
Women have always loved others at the cost of themselves.
God literally designed women to…
-produce people that rip apart their bodies
-experience excruciating pain in birth
-give away their strength in nursing
-spend their constant energy for years after
So no, the problem is NOT women’s “suicidal empathy”.
The problem is women’s PLACE.
Women are domestic creatures.
God designed them to stay at home… To be surrounded only by the people in this world that it is good and right for them to sacrificially love.
Man was formed in the wilderness.
Woman was made in a domesticated garden.
The failure is that men allowed women into the workplace, and eventually the voting booth.
Their empathy is a strength when their place is at home.
Their empathy is a liability when their place is in congress or parliament.
If men wish to cherish and protect women, they must send them back home and lovingly strip them of their rights to vote and hold office.
