Drake Softball Hit-A-Thon Fundraiser!
Hi everyone!
On October 15 at 6:00 PM, I'll be participating in Drake Softball's annual Hit-A-Thon, and I'd love your support!
You can sponsor me by making a pledge based on the distance of my longest hit out of 10 pitches. The minimum pledge is $0.22 per foot with a minimum distance of 220 feet.
Example: If you pledge $1 per foot and my longest hit is 225 feet, your donation would be $225.
You can also make a flat donation if you prefer. All funds raised will help support the 2026-2027 Drake Softball season and provide resources and opportunities for our team.
π Donate here: Support Drake Softball (host.nxt.blackbaud.com/donorβ¦)
Please include my name in the comments section when making your donation.
Checks are also welcome and can be made payable to Drake Softball.
We'd also love to see you at the Hit-A-Thon! Come cheer us on and take some swings yourself. Fans will have the opportunity to hit on the field for $2 per ball.
Thank you so much for your support of Drake Softball! ππ₯

β’ First 5-Hit Game - Freshman

Select Fastpitch 18- Chester looking to add 1 top level pitcher to round out our strong roster. Non parent head coach and a current D1 athlete as an assistant. A great opportunity for tons of exposure, high level development and lots of innings! We will play a strong schedule in the summer to get our athletes ready to make an impact at the next level. Events include Top Gun Select, Top Club Nationals, Colorado Sparkler and TC Summer Nationals to name a few. This can be an opportunity for a 2 way player as well if itβs the right fit. Please reach out to me if youβre interested.

A year ago today I read the biopsy report email.
Fight or die.
Thatβs the choice cancer gives the patient. Easy decision. You fight. You fight for your family but they do not get a choice. Family is forced to watch. Watch you turn into skin and bones as you are injected and exposed to poison hoping the cancer dies before you do. Watch while cancer steals their opportunities, the magnitude of their firsts and lasts, their possible once in a lifetimes, and maybe you.
Cancer is more than a patient fighting a disease. It haunts you and your family from diagnosis day. The anxiety of wondering when itβs coming back, why was your family put through this horror, why did you survive and that friend you met during treatment didnβt.
For cancer awareness, ask the loved ones of the patient how they are holding up, especially during treatment. Ask the survivor how they are doing a year or more after treatment when the high of winning the first battle is over. The fight is longer than treatment and some days harder. F&ck you cancer for what you have taken from my family and so many others. #cancersucks #CancerAwareness #headandneckcancer @LeiaKnutson11 @max_knutson23 @HollyHeien @KnutsonRussell
