It's genuinely bizarre that RW chuds are still spewing this lie long after it has been debunked. The Oscar standards can be met - and were met by both Oppenheimer and The Odyssey - via crew members and executives/training programs at Universal. Nolan's casting choices had nothing to do with the Oscar standards.

Just saw The Odyssey, I loved it but was really surprised it featured so many Minions. Not saying it’s bad or inaccurate. I’m aware of its oral history, so there’s no way to know Homer didn’t include Minions. But it was like 98% Minions. Didn’t even mention Odysseus.
