Back in the day, IBM used to reward employees who worked for the company for 25 years with a sick Rolex Datejust with engine-turned bezel and Oyster bracelet - and the recipient’s name, date of presentation, and IBM Quarter Century Club crest. This beauty is available now on windvintage.com
One of the nicest and most meaningful gifts I have ever received is this set of 10k gold cuff links personally presented by Henry Ford II to my friend and client’s dad who was a driver for Ford. This gentleman helped develop the famous GT40 that beat Ferrari in the 1966 Le Mans and that was immortalized in the movie Ford v Ferrari. If you look at the design of the cuff links, you can see that the outer perimeter of the track at Le Mans is the border of the cuff links.

Heuer was my first love in the world of vintage watches and great vintage Heuer chronographs always “spark joy” when I hold them and see them. It has been a joy to share my passion for vintage Heuer watches with Charlie Dunne over the years and I was excited that Charlie could attend the Heuer Collector Summit this year in La Chaux-de-Fonds after I attended it two years ago. Please enjoy take a full look at the photo report on windvintage.com/blog
A client recently was showing me some of his favorite watches in his collection and he had a beautiful Wittnauer in steel with Breguet numerals that was not a watch I had previously seen. I was salivating over the design and look. I also love the 13-24 on the dial reflecting that the watch was made for the American market (probably particularly geared toward American service members) and we aren’t known for our penchant for 24-hour time. A short time later, I received a package with this watch inside it as a touching and shocking gift - thankfully he had another unpolished example on ice. I am bracelet sicko, as you might know, and immediately dug out this Wittnauer-signed J.B. Champion “Nautilus” stretch bracelet to fit on the watch. It’s insane and truly sparks joy!
The reference 5170G with black dial is my favorite modern Patek Philippe chronograph. It’s an absolute killer on the wrist and this example is made even more special with its discreet “TIFFANY & Co.” signature. Reportedly, only 12 examples were made with the Tiffany signature. We are thrilled to offer this example from the original owner now on windvintage.com
