🚨 A kid hopped into a $80k+ Mercedes van at the Paris Motor Show, started it, threw it in reverse, and slammed it into the wall.
No injuries. Minor damage. Mercedes is “investigating.”
The parents should be on the hook for every dollar of repairs.
You don’t let unsupervised kids climb into multi-thousand-dollar vehicles and treat them like toys.
That’s not an accident. That’s failed parenting.

Aspetta, ma i basati di Twitter non dicevano che il Paraguay era il meglio del meglio?
BREAKING: 🇵🇾 What just happened in PARAGUAY is a WARNING for everyone on earth.
More than 3 million people (60% of Paraguay's adult population) have lost access to EVERYTHING. Their bank accounts. Their pensions. Frozen. Inaccessible.
Paraguay’s largest digital bank, Ueno Bank, has collapsed.
The president of the Central Bank (who is deeply connected to Ueno) has just RESIGNED. Eight high-level executives including the founder and the Bank President are being detained.
The people have taken to the streets to demand their money back. And rightly so.
This is the model Milei and the rest of the Epstein class are pushing. This could happen ANYWHERE. Best to save in physical gold and physical silver, imo.
Everyone knows about “Operation: Unthinkable” Churchill’s plan to invade the Soviet Union in the immediate aftermath of WW2.
It’s generally accepted now that such a move would’ve not gone well for the Allies.
But that begs the question; was there a Soviet equivalent? Any Soviet officials who thought they should press their advantage and continued westward?
> pushing for equality and all
Fatto, quindi adesso si che vi lamentate?

The indomitable girl who captured him was waiting for him thirty years later
On September 21, 1965, a 17-year-old Vietnamese girl named Nguyễn Thị Kim Lai was photographed escorting an enormous American airman through the countryside. His hands were tied behind his back. His head was bowed. She was carrying a rifle.
His name was William Andrew Robinson. He was 22, a helicopter mechanic and flight engineer in the US Air Force. The previous day his helicopter had been shot down during a mission to rescue another American airman.
Kim Lai was tiny. She weighed 37 kilograms. She had only finished seventh grade before joining the local militia. Her home province, Hà Tĩnh, was being bombed relentlessly by American aircraft.
According to her recollection, she discovered Robinson hiding among the rocks in a forest. Frightened by his enormous size, she fired three warning shots. He surrendered. Other militia members arrived and tied his hands.
A photographer named Phan Thoan captured the extraordinary contrast between the two.
The photograph became famous throughout Vietnam. It appeared on postage stamps. A celebrated Vietnamese poet wrote a poem about it. The image travelled around the world, becoming a symbol of a small country resisting a superpower.
Robinson was taken to prison.
He spent 2,703 days in captivity. Seven years, four months and twenty-three days. Much of it in isolation, enduring brutal conditions and torture. He was finally released on February 12, 1973.
Kim Lai became a nurse. She married, had three children and eventually became a grandmother.
Thirty years after their first encounter, in September 1995, she was playing with her grandchildren at a neighbour's house when someone came to tell her that foreigners were looking for her.
She returned home.
Standing there was William Andrew Robinson.
He had come back to Vietnam with a Japanese documentary crew. He had apparently wanted to find her for years but had never been able to afford the journey.
She recognised him immediately.
According to her recollection, he approached and embraced her before she could greet him.
They talked about their lives. Their families. Everything that had happened since those few minutes in a Vietnamese forest.
They even returned to the place where he had been captured.
Robinson reportedly expressed the hope that there would never be another photograph like theirs.
There is another photograph of them, taken during that reunion.
She is looking up at him. Smiling. He is standing beside her, still towering over her. No handcuffs. No rifle.
With no US government throwing away the youth of its own citizens to forcefully decide the future of Vietnam both can stand tall side by side.
🇳🇴 In 2005, a court in Norway sentenced a 23-year-old woman to nine months in prison for raping a man.
The 31-year-old man, who was a friend of the woman’s boyfriend, had fallen asleep on a couch in her apartment after the trio spent the night drinking.
The man woke up to find her performing oral sex on him.
She first denied it, then claimed it was consensual.
The court disagreed.
Under Norway’s gender-neutral rape laws, sexual acts with someone who is asleep or unable to resist count as rape.
It was the first time a woman had been solely convicted of raping a man in the country’s history.

She was 19 when she answered a modeling ad and walked into a porn shoot. They said it would only go on DVD in Australia. A month later a classmate messaged her: “How much did you make from it?”
By the end of her shift she was on Pornhub.
In the video below, Mariah tells it herself. She was sleeping on a couch in San Diego when she started answering modeling ads. Then she walked into a hotel room and saw six studio lights pointed at a bed. Wait for what they say when she calls them.
She says the same operation ran a site that published the women’s personal details the moment each video went up. Her parents’ home address ended up on Reddit.
She went back because she saw no other way to pay for a lawyer. They filmed her twice more.
Michael Pratt, who owned GirlsDoPorn, fled the US and made the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list before he was arrested in Spain. In September 2025 he got 27 years. So many women spoke that day that they were assigned letters. Mariah was U.
Ruben Andre Garcia, the man she says offered her five grand to come back, got 20 years. The company behind Pornhub admitted taking money from the trafficking and agreed to pay $1.8 million.
Should anyone at that site have gone to prison too, or was $1.8 million enough?

Linda Lovelace was paid $1,250 for Deep Throat, a film that reportedly grossed more than $600 million. Her husband took the money. She says he kept a gun on her through the shoot. In 1986 she told a US government commission that anyone watching it was watching her being raped.
Her real name was Linda Boreman. She was born in 1949 and married Chuck Traynor in 1971. Deep Throat came out in 1972. Estimates of its gross run from $100 million to more than $600 million, on a budget reportedly under $50,000. She says the $1,250 was all she was paid, and that Traynor took it.
She divorced him in 1975. In 1980 she published a memoir, Ordeal, saying she had been coerced into the film. The anti-porn movement made her its face. In 1986 she testified before the Attorney General's Commission on Pornography.
Traynor admitted hitting her but said it was part of a voluntary sex game. A co-star from the film disputes her account.
She died on April 22, 2002, at 53, after a car crash in Colorado.
She was paid $1,250 once. The film has been paid for ever since.
Was Linda Lovelace a woman who was forced in front of a camera, or did a woman who later turned against porn rewrite her own story?
Anche allora #AvevaStatoPutin:
Finland says that in 1941 it only wanted its lost land back. Then it captured Petrozavodsk, a city that had never been Finnish, and gave it a Finnish name.
In late summer 1941 Finnish troops did not stop at the old border. They advanced toward Leningrad across the Karelian Isthmus and around Lake Ladoga to link up with Germany's Army Group North, and by August 31 they were crossing the 1939 border at the Sestra River. In September they took Beloostrov and threw themselves at the Soviet fortifications. Losses piled up, soldiers refused to advance any deeper, and military courts cracked down hard on dissent. Mannerheim's claim that he "chose to stop" is a half-truth at best: his army was bleeding and bogged down.
Meanwhile the Finns pushed east, occupied Petrozavodsk and renamed it Äänislinna, as if to erase its Russian past. If that's "just reclaiming lost land," what would a conquest look like?
