“Chemistry” Clutch Time might be the best thing MyTeam has done all year. That being said, I have been begging, BEGGING, for stuff like this to be in the game for years. MyTeam is the only ultimate team that doesn’t give a damn about team building, so more of this please.

Showdown isn't NEARLY as rewarding as it needs to be
Daily events are not good (shoe packs?)
We need another program/grind to do
There needs to be more to do in the exchange

I was talking about MyTeam to someone recently and I told them its just missing the fun factor for me. This is a good example, they want you to play TTO for a SHOE PACK and its limited to certain hours. Im old enough to remember grinding TTO wins for fun ball drop events man...

It’s October 20th, and we’re starting to see a very concerning pattern in MyTeam. Wayyyy too many cards are built to just be exchange fodder, and we don’t have enough exchanges in the game. We need more exchanges, or no more drops like today. @NBA2KMyTEAM
It definitely feels like @NBA2KMyTEAM hit a roadblock.
I don't understand the point of giving the "pixel cut" cards zero badges, a lot of the content is just exchange fodder. Definitely a really rough start to season 2. Thankfully the actual gameplay is still pretty decent.
Seeing anybody defend themselves by starting with "don't give me things like 'rules' or 'facts' to make your point" just shows you how willfully ignorant they are.
It can look awkward, it can seem like a violation, and you can hate it; that doesn't mean it's a travel.

Not a single new Duo or Evo card sucks. Really disappointing to see those two things get ignored more and more as each iteration of the game comes out.
Season looks okay otherwise but that really dampens the excitement for me.

I’ve been away from 2K for two years so I forgot about some of the community “ism’s”. @espyLiveTweets just reminded me that people call David Robinson “D-Rob” and before he gets a card, let’s agree to use his actual nickname? I know most of you didn’t see him play, I don’t care.
Don't get me wrong, I love that the promos are actually staying within a theme. But come on @NBA2KMyTEAM the top exchanges have been:
Paul George: SF/SG
Ant: SG/SF
Luka: PG/SG
Brunson: PG/SG
Klay: SG/SF
Vince: SF/SG
Kon: SG/SF
And Tracy McGrady as the "big" reward... SG/SF
I honestly agree with this, only because it was fun to play against people who thought they could safely hide in the corner and exploit it.
Doesn't make the game different and I'm neutral on it, but I think at least SOME people are going to play differently now.
I honestly don't think I'll ever interact with somebody this dumb again for the rest of my life.
Mundane back and forth, he said stupid things, got roasted, ignored, and forgotten.
Then he goes on an alt, says I blocked him, when actually he put himself in timeout.
Holy shit.
Among other things, this is a bad take because an NBA team would take "50" (in reality closer to 37-40) threes across 48 minutes, not the 16 minutes of running clock that a Showdown game in MyTeam has.
Then you factor in the straw man argument, and pretending to have stats.
NBA players running multiple screens and pick n rolls every play, shooting 50 3s a game, attacking downhill off quick moves = "unrealistic cheese"
Doing 25 jab steps, getting a contact dunk every play, contesting shooters with your back turned = "Sim gameplay"
Its time to take the mask off simnation. They don't want to play simulation ball. They wanna cosplay as a "crafty" basketball player OR they want to pretend to be Jordan and live out their failed hoop dreams on a game. Or obviously they just want to play other idiots like themselves so that their 40 win % doesn't turn into a 15%
