many people on my tl are disappointed that there's "no actual love triangle" this season, but I'm like... wasn't this to be expected? like, Gal can still be haunted by Sauron, her past decisions and suppressed desires but it won't make their relationship a part of a love triangle

anyway, we'll never know till the season is out maybe the bed scene is in the first 20 mins of ep 1 before Gal magically severs the connection till the end of the show and never mentions Sauron ever, but at the same time, maybe he shapeshifts into celeborn so...😭😭😭

Well said. I didn't want a love triangle a la the vampire diaries. I want Sauron haunting her. And her fighting and avoiding what she feels. She will not choose him, but will always struggle to keep him away.

We literally saw her dreaming Annatar next to her IN BED even after claiming "the door is shut" she obviously won't be struggling to choose between her husband and Sauron, it won't be a love triangle, but it doesn't erase the fact that he's always on her mind one way or another
