It you’re wondering why Marsha Blackburn left her cushy Senate job to be Tennessee Governor, she’s promised bottomless data centers for her #BigTech donors powered by OUR public power

Five TN Senate races decided by 6 points or less. ~17,000 votes from flipping all five. Our candidates got there with almost no early support. Imagine what they’d do with it. Recruit in 2027. Fund early. Show up everywhere. Start now. 🧵

Impeach Hegseth and Blanche. The Pentagon and DOJ are too important to be left in their hands. And it will be important to bar them from federal service forever.
A US military source says: "Hegseth's days are numbered". There are differing views on why - some believe he will face inevitable impeachment by the Democrats, others believe Trump will sack him as the fall guy for the disastrous Iran war. Either way, he has already alienated significant parts of the US military. One senior military officer, not authorised to speak on the record, tells @thetimes: "Personally, after decades of service and five combat deployments I’m just tired of being called ‘woke’ by a secretary who seems to spend more time worrying about NCO business than actually making serious policy decisions."

" 'But are there not many fascists in your country?' 'There are many who do not know they are fascists but will find it out when the times comes.' ”
Another thing to consider As was once done with Representative Adam Clayton Powell Before the next House/Senate term can commence The newly elected Reps & Senators will have to be seated Perhaps the current officials will refuse to certify anyone from a state that refused to verify voter’s citizenship That would keep places like CA or perhaps IL from having anyone … it’s happened before (U.S. Civil War) to represent them That ought to be fascinating … if somebody had the balls …

Two years ago the GOP won Texas by 14 points and was rightfully proud of its multiracial coalition. Two years of tariffs, racism and war later, and everything changed. But if you think more racism is the answer, you'll lose forever and deserve every single defeat. Oh, and in 1970, the Democratic Party was in nearly absolute control of the state of Texas, when it was a whiter state. Demographics are not destiny.
In 1970, the White population in Texas was 89%. In 2000, it was 50%. Now it’s less than 39%. Demographics is destiny.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
In 1970 the White population included Hispanic people because surveys in Texas didn't ask about Hispanic ethnicity as a separate question from race. In 2000 the White population for just race was 71%. Today White is 74% and "White, not Hispanic" sorted for ethnic origin is 37%. census.gov/quickfacts/TX

In a gerrymandered district, our campaign was within a single point of winning. Thank you to everyone who worked to make that a reality. I am immensely grateful. I will continue to fight for the people of TN and together our movement is just getting started.

Winning elections isn’t the same as governing well. It’s going to be a circus, but one thing I know - Marsha and her friends are going to make out well during her governorship.
"You talk a lot about a state DOGE program, what have your fellow Republican colleagues missed? They've been in control for 16 years." @MarshaBlackburn's predictably weak answer about her newest talking point, which sure seems like a jab at @GovBillLee + the GOP supermajority.

If a MAGA voter is bewildered today, perhaps he should stop making a meme calling his opponents “fake and gay,” delete the post declaring that Indian Americans worship demons, turn off the podcast that’s shrieking at him that every person who votes Democratic is a heretic, and take a very long and thoughtful look in the mirror. Donald Trump is to blame, but no one — absolutely no one — made you imitate him. nytimes.com/2026/11/05/opini…

The Tennessee Republicans at the suggestion of President Trump, Gerrymandered TN9 ( my district) seeking a 9-0 republican delegation. Tennessee is still 8-1 as in their redistricting zeal they politically harmed the Republican incumbent in Tn4 and he lost. So they spent 3 to $4 million of taxpayer money on a special session and election expenses and still ended up 8-1 and besides screwing me and my constituents (which I know they enjoyed) they screwed one of their own. Screw them!
