The descendants of Blackfeet Chief Two Guns White Calf want the Washington Redskins name back. They say the 2020 rebrand erased their ancestor's legacy without asking them. They reportedly want to meet President Trump to push the effort. Woke activists never asked actual Native families. Bring back the Redskins.

Replying to @VanceCrowe
@VanceCrowe is coming on my next episode of The Business of Agriculture to bitch about the older generations. Also, some of the financial bitching isn't based in facts. I have numbers.

I wish people would notice that the safety scare is not driven by people outside of the big labs, but directly from their leadership. The "whistleblowers" are plants that are amplified from within the labs, and supported by the CEOs. The goal is to capture the regulators, which will not shut down the big labs, but turn them into an oligopoly and outlaw decentralized AI.

James is one of the best resources for managing market risk there is. I don’t know many others that get granular enough to understand the gamma your crop insurance provides
If you’re a producer, the quoted tweet described you 3 weeks ago, and you’re starting to get bullish and lift hedges *after* a nearly 15% rally; I have a few things you may want to consider. (opinions to follow - see disclaimer at the end) 1. Assuming you carry a reasonable RP crop insurance policy (and hopefully ECO/SCO, too, but I digress), and your yield expectations and hedge/cash market positions haven’t changed; you’re probably much longer today than you were right before the report. This is largely because of the gamma of embedded put-like protection in your crop insurance. 2. If you’re buying rallies and selling breaks you are (by hamfistedly replicating a long straddle) essentially adding to your long gamma position via those trades. All that whipsawing actually increases your risk in a market that finishes little changed on the year. Because you’re probably already long gamma via your crop insurance, you should tend to sell rallies and buy breaks to help manage the associated theta. 3. If this doesn’t make any sense to you, track down someone who can explain it, and take the time to really understand. Of course, I’m speaking in broad generalities. Your specific situation should drive your hedging decisions. This is not advice, it’s my opinion only. Trading futures and options is risky and not for everybody. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

My brother and I are going to be picking up a small load of calves in the northeast in September and looking for a place to lay over the cattle for the night in western Illinois or eastern Iowa. Anyone got a small lot we could dump some calves on for the night?

Recap on homemade Down Force monitor. It’s a very inexpensive means for many of us running old school planters to see what your planter gauge wheels are carrying weight wise as you adjust your row units manual springs or airbag settings! It’s fascinating watching across the field. Adds confidence to your setup decisions. youtube.com/shorts/pSecfo2UK…

When will @CMEGroup come out with some legitimate hedge products for the masses? What good does a 1oz #gold or 100 barrel #wti contract do? Would you trade or hedge gasoline or fuel if there were true liquid mini or micro contracts? Ex/ 500 & 5000 gallon HO and #gasoline contract
