The expressive nature of this three-storey house is designed in a continuous movement that suggests, between its different rooms, a route from which to explore with the eye the landscape that expands in front of it.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣

Each of the volumes is designed according to its function: the first for the most public area, another for the private spaces, and the last for the service area.⁣⁣⁣

The two upper floors are divided into three volumes, giving the spaces a more horizontal proportion in relation to the landscape they frame, while creating a more human and intimate scale in the sleeping areas, allowing the inhabitants to live as they wish. ⁣

The existing structural grid is blurred, generating differentiated spatial conditions beyond a rigid organizational logic. #fransilvestrearquitectos

The access, from the highest point, sets the stage for an experience where the architecture opens up to the sea, turning the view into an essential part of the lived space.⁣⁣

The architecture is understood as a mechanism capable of capturing the surrounding landscape.

These elements temper the abstract character of the volume and establish a dialogue between the precision of the architecture and the natural condition of the site.⁣ ⁣⁣

The house is conceived as two volumes arranged perpendicular to one another, adapting to the conditions of the site. The upper volume extends in cantilever, freeing the ground floor, creating shade and forming a sheltered terrace directly connected to the garden.

The existing spaces embody a history that predates the intervention—places where the key lies not in imposing, but in understanding and preserving their identity, acting only where necessary.

The horizontality of the different elements directs the gaze towards the horizon, while the large glass surfaces blur the boundary between inside and outside. Rather than occupying the landscape, the house seeks to frame it and make it part of everyday life.
