Go and read about Apple's CSAM scanning and then the cancellation of it.
With Apple being Apple, what's the guarantee that they didn't sneak it in behind out backs?

And what stops them from automatically snitching based on certain hashes from the locally processed information?
Replying to @iconredesign
I'd still feel uncomfortable to have my camera inputs being processed unnecessarily.

Talking about maximizing resources on a post about "just" 16 gigs on a "Pro" machine?
The OP probably meant heavier workloads and not the likes of whatever you said.

Yeah. Actually I think the A20P P core may have slightly higher IPC despite being less wide.
What I'm saying is that the core width, in itself, has less to do with efficiency.

That was not meant to hurt you. Sorry that you got hurt.

Higher clocks need more volt, no matter the core width. A wide core at same clocks would need more power because it needs higher ampere to feed.
A19P to A20P, is a less wide higher clocked P core. So ≈.
Efficiency gains are mainly form elsewhere. Either uncore or node.

"Runs consistently at 4K" implies native 4K. And when got pointed out, you immediately flip.

If they could read why would they even be shilling for PS?

Same logic of how they used 12GB RAM chips in iPad Pro M4.
Re-establishing 60Hz manufacturing lines and tooling will be expensive.
It makes sense to have newer tech custom made; doesn't for old tech.
They'd be making better profits upselling 120Hz iPad Pro over 60Hz mini.

Hey look!! 40 >> 30.
Hey, even 60 doesn't feel smooth at most times.

Stutterfest 30 is stutterfest 30, no matter how glossy and reflective it gets.

Tell me "light equivalents" for Blender, Xcode, FinalCut, etc.
This is a pro machine and 16 gigs isn't much—and wasn't even a decade ago.
Next what? Are you gonna tell us to use only one browser tab with all background stuff disabled so as to not exceed 4 gigs of RAM use?
Replying to @LeakerApple
iPad mini doesn't need ProMotion 120Hz because you are now doing all the PROMOTION for 60 Hz.
They hiked the price anyway. So, what exactly was stopping them from charging a bit extra for a LTPO display with VRR?
It's a pure marketing measure to upsell much expensive stuff.

Enjoy the 30fps stufferfest. Doesn't matter the device.

Both of which have negligible influence on CPU/GPU performance. It's more related to power and sustained thermals.

It is so bad that sometimes even the previous generation chip outperforms it. IDK how chip design can be that bad.
