Remains the absolute dumbest way to decide a team’s destiny to compete for their county/conference title. It isn’t just MCPS either.
The way that the MPSSAA as a whole make decisions truly forces to you wonder if ANYONE in the room has a pulse on how things work.

Blake-Whitman for the MoCo county championship was the game everyone in DMV HS basketball wanted to see.
Best 3A team in MoCo (and best player @babaoladotun_) vs the best 4A team in MoCo @WhitmanBB
Both teams have state-championship ceilings.
Lame that it was a coin toss.

Do you expect a better process from 🤡 show county? Almost everything @MCPSAthletics and @MCPS does is for expediency. Kids deserve better … much better! Play-in game anyone? Record against common opponents? Strength of schedule? Nope. That would be too much work! Fix it now!

Evan Brown leads Whitman with 15 points on 5 3's.
Whitman connects on 14-19 3's in the 1st half! Probably an all -time Montgomery County record for a half.

Pretty sure Chris Lun is the only coach in the DMV who still wears a shirt and tie at every game.
