“Here’s a clear and compelling antidote to the kind of common clichés that so many people uncritically believe. Thanks, Shane, for pointing readers to biblical wisdom, where hope and truth reside!”
— @LeeStrobel, New York Times best-selling author of The Case for Christ and The Case for Faith
“Jesus never said that following Him was going to be easy. When Christians reduce faith to pithy statements like the lies Shane breaks down in this book, it doesn’t help—it actually hurts. So stop believing these lies! Let my friend Shane guide and lead you to understanding the heart of God.”
— @danielsangi, teaching pastor at The Fellowship, director of church multiplication at LifeWay Christian Resources, podcaster, and author of No Silver Bullets
“The evangelical world has been waiting to hear from a fresh young voice like Shane Pruitt. He has a passion for people and a love for the Lord and is straight as an arrow theologically. Read this new book…and reap!”

Contrary to popular belief…
Disagreement doesn’t equal hate or a phobia.

PRAY 🙏 An NFL player who suffered a frightening injury Sunday is making progress while leaning on his faith. Jack Campbell, a linebacker for the Detroit Lions, experienced a paralyzing neck injury while making a tackle, but he's already seeing some signs of recovery 🙏
"My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we'll get through this," Jack said later.

Some people aren’t worshipping the Jesus of the Bible. They’re worshipping a Jesus they’ve created in their own minds.
A false Jesus shaped by their personal opinions, preferences, and ideologies.
That’s not Christianity.
That’s idolatry.

If your version of Jesus…
+Supports abortion.
+Celebrates lifestyles that Scripture calls people to repent of.
+Affirms the idea that we can redefine the gender God created.
+Claims there are multiple ways to Heaven.
Then you’re following a false Jesus.
You’re not worshipping the Jesus of Scripture. You’re worshipping your own ideologies and simply attaching His name to them.

-Keep coming back to the Word of God.
-Seek the presence and strength of God’s Spirit.
-Make a list of the many things you are thankful for. There’s always so much to be thankful for.
-Remember the promises of God in tough times.
-Center your heart on the sovereignty and goodness of God.
-Refocus on the purpose God has put in your heart.

After the Election this week…
Christians, should be encouraged by these truths:
1. This was not the “most important election of your lifetime”. Your election in Christ is.
2. It didn’t catch God by surprise. Whoever wins is only because of God’s providential plan.
3. Our ultimate calling is to be an ambassador for Christ. Don’t let your rhetoric over a preferred political candidate ruin your witness for Jesus.
4. Trust in the Lord. No matter how bad this world gets, it’s as close to Hell as you’ll ever be, because Heaven is your home.

THE POWER OF BUILDING YOUR LIFE ON GOD’S WORD
Something remarkable is happening. Bible sales have risen significantly in recent years, church attendance and Scripture engagement are surging especially with young people.
In this episode, Philip Nation shares why the Bible is foundational to our Christian life. The Bible reveals who God is, helps us understand who we are, and shows us the path of redemption.
Philip shows why regularly engaging with God’s Word is one of the most important factors in our spiritual growth.
Matt and Philip also offer practical advice for building a daily Bible habit. From beginning with the Gospels to choosing a consistent time and place, reading Scripture with your family, memorizing verses, and even handwriting passages, the goal isn’t simply to check a box—it’s to know God and become more like Jesus.
Philip also discusses Habits for Our Holiness and how spiritual disciplines are tools God uses to shape our character, deepen our relationship with Him, and strengthen our witness to others.
Thank you to our ministry partner “The Open Bible” from Thomas Nelson. This is a wonderful Bible to help you grow in Christ.

To have an abortion and be regretiul, repentant, and seek the Lord's forgiveness is one thing.
To have an abortion and be brash, celebratory, and laugh about it is a demonic thing.

Jesus is King.
You can’t impeach Him, and He ain’t going to resign. You didn’t vote Him into office, and you can’t vote Him out of office.
He reigns.

If your hope is in political candidates… they’ll eventually let you down.
If your hope is in Christ…
He’ll never let you down.

What am I going to do after the election results are in?
The same thing I’ve been doing throughout my 25+ years of ministry:
Pray for our leaders.
Preach Jesus as King!

Dear Christian, YOUR VOTE MATTERS!
As followers of Jesus, we're called to be salt and light—not just within the walls of the church, but in the world around us.
Politics matter because politicians make policies and pass laws that impact people's lives. So pray, do your homework, and vote according to your biblical convictions. And remember—our hope is not in a political party, a candidate, or an election outcome. Our hope is in JESUS!
Let's be people who pray faithfully, steward responsibly, and love others regardless of how they vote.
Get out and VOTE! 🇺🇸
