Hi @BBCNews when the government claim they are offering all the public sector above inflation pay rises. Local authorities are offering 3.2% - below inflation.

UK/ EU: I'm going to have the courage to say this BREXIT upgrade is good for Britain: 👉 A new security deal 👉 Access to EU arms plan 👉 Youth study exchange 👉 UK to access e-gates 👉 Food/agri /fish border delays removed 👉 Utility co's can sell energy to continent Yes - there are details (eg fishing) we can quibble over. But economically & security wise - this is a welcome step forward.

Apart from the NFFO (fishing lobby) I can't see a single business/group that does not welcome the UK-EU reset. BCC, CBI, IoD, UK Steel, UK Hospitality, British Meat Processors Association, Morrisons, BAE Systems, Salmon Scotland(!), Port of Dover.
