I genuinely fucking dread the day Cristiano Ronaldo retires. I’ve watched this man for pretty much my entire life. I was a little kid screaming SIUUU at the television and somehow I’m now an adult still doing the exact same thing. And the fact we’re getting so close to never seeing him play football again is absolutely killing me. I’ve accepted a lot of horrible things in football over the years, but watching my childhood hero retire? Nah. Fuck that. I don’t want a farewell video. I don’t want a tribute.
