i love asking ppl what part of my statement they disagree with and they don’t respond bc they realize they sound like an asshole

most fic writers don’t want engagement to “get famous” or anything. it’s just that when you put your heart into something, it feels good to know people liked and enjoyed it. it also helps motivation to write more. if you ignore fic writers, there won’t be any more fics to read🤷♀️

people are being so obtuse about this when in reality 90% of the people who read those fics don't go back to even leave a kudo. like, ofc you write for yourself yada yada but fandom is about community and telling stuff like "stfu" to writers for expressing their feelings will ⬇️

tbh some people are being fucking ASSHOLES to writers in these qt rts and its actually pissing me off so here are my takes on things that i wrote out on a plane, pls enjoy
btw guys writers wanting to receive kudos and comments on that work is not weird or selfish??? why are you guys so weird about engaging with content you enjoy?!?

the good thing about ao3 being down for awhile is that maybe during this time the haters and the witch hunters will get bored and just leave

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!! READ CAREFULLY GUYS AND BE CAUTIOUS!
Earlier today, we detected evidence of a security incident on #AO3. We are still in the early stages of investigating. No AO3 data has been deleted. All your works, bookmarks, kudos, etc., are safe. Learn more at otwstatus.org/incidents/g12j…

Hey, just a reminder! When ao3 goes back up! Go ahead and visit the fics that you read downloads of to give the authors at the very least a hit! (A kudos or even a comment would be even better!) They do this for free so any appreciation we can show them would be amazing! :))
okay so i did make a pdf of chapters 1-4 of psycho killer if anyone would like that to read. chapter 5 will get posted as soon as it possibly can be pending ao3 coming back up.
