Opus 5.5 has been working diligently for 4 hrs, has spun up 400 subagents and still going with not even 50% of the context window utilized. I've really fallen in love with this model, this feels like the model every dev wanted from a long time. It's closest to perfection for it's capabilities. I think this is where they can start diversifying their attention to next steps in AI towards newer frontiers like image gen, voice processing, video encoders, computer use and so on

i think google is cooking. let's not forget that deepmind was the most advanced lab and they have the craziest architectures and deep understanding of llms. they might have taken some crazy bets when it comes to the future of architecture. instead of solely focusing on scaling laws, they might be focusing on completely transforming the ai workflows. we might see an insane omni model that is frontier intelligence but also has crazy capabilities when it comes to everything from image generation to video understanding and world understanding.
