I've been seeing more and more people talk about the algorithm recently, how it's been ruined and how even though you might have a lot of followers your posts won't get through to them, I'm not defending the algorithm by any means and I do agree that it definitely feels way worse than before but I also feel like most of us just started defaulting to the For you tab instead of the Following tab - when I browse the Following tab I actually manage to get to the end of everything that people I follow have uploaded and I either switch to the "For you" tab or just stop scrolling - I think the same thing has been happening to YouTube, people just started defaulting to the Home page instead of using the subscriptions tab, am I just wrong about this? Do some posts just not show up even in the Following tab?
