Post-FP2 #F1Fantasy simulation by @rhter1896 is now live in the Team Calculator! ✅ It's currently very late on a Thursday night for rhter, so feel free to show him some love for getting these sims out to all of us at these rather strange and inconvenient times. True dedication! 🙏 Some thoughts on the sims: - MER confidently above the rest - RED looks strong. How quickly wil HAD get up to speed? - FER closest to RED with MCL as the 4th best team - ALP best of the midfield - VRB with strong Rpace but weaker Qpace, so possibly on for some overtake points & gained positions - For budget gains, options are rather limited. Only 4 drivers total with odds over 50% of gaining a max increase

We still think LAWs price being 9.7M instead of 10.3M is a mistake, but it also doesn't seem likely #F1Fantasy is going to fix it so we've adjusted his price to 9.7M in our tools as well.
Replying to @pipeverac
We expect that that is a mistake. His price in Hungary was 9.7M after which he received a +0.6M increase to 10.3M. Taking that 0.6M away again, but not doing the same for HAD feels more like a bug than consciously giving him a "new price". We're going to hold off on making any changes to our tools to give them time to hopefully make a more consistent decision.

HAD is back! Which means we have a new, unseen edge case in #F1Fantasy 🎉 How will the devs handle the price change calculations for both HAD and LAW? More specifically: what scores will they assign to the past 2 races to calculate a 3 race average to base the price change on? We think there are 3 possible options: 1. 0 for the previous two rounds. -> If they didn’t account for this situation and just take the last 2 scores earned by these assets without caring about the fact that they were inactive in those rounds. This would almost guarantee them dropping in price the next round (and probably the one after that too). This is in our opinion the worst solution, but unfortunately the default if they didn’t consider this edge case at all. 2. No previous rounds. -> Treat them like they are completely new assets that do not have any previous races yet. Same calculations as for the very first round of the season and when introducing new assets (like TSU in Zandvoort for example). 3. Use the points of their previous two non-inactive rounds. -> 38 + 15 for HAD and 3 + 13 for LAW for Belgium and Hungary. We’re unsure about what the best solution is between option 2 and 3. There are arguments for both. We however do know that option 1 is the worst - but unfortunately also the most likely when considering the track record of the F1 Fantasy devs. We’d love to be proven wrong though! For now, we’ve gone with option 1 in the Budget Builder because it’s the most likely in our opinion. You can however manually change the scores of the last 2 rounds to whatever you wish to simulate their required points for Baku. The screenshot contains all 3 options mentioned above. The upcoming sims will have versions for all 3 scenarios.

The #F1Fantasy points for the Monaco GP have been reversed to their original values after Gasly's penalties were reinstated following appeals from McLaren and Red Bull. Here are all the point changes: GAS: 23 → 10 PIA: 12 → 15 LAW: 12 → 15 LIN: 18 → 21 HAD: 13 → 17 RED: -7 → -3 MCL: -3 → 0 ALP: 23 → 10 VRB: 30 → 36 The only affected price change was for GAS. He originally got -0.6M for his 10 points. Then his points got increased to 23 which bumped him up to +0.2M. However, F1 Fantasy never rectified the changed price change. Now that his points are back to 10, his -0.6M price change is actually the correct one after all.

2026 | rw14 | Madrid MER + FER + ANT (2x) + NOR + ALB + HUL + PER NOR as a bit of an MCL hedge (their fp3 looked quite decent, but there were uneven opportunities for fast laps at the end). Plus if things go well, a bit of budget upside too. @f1fantasytools

It’s a new track so making #F1Fantasy predictions is a lot harder, but if someone can do it it’s @rhter1896 ! Post-FP2 simulation is available in the Team Calculator and Budget Builder ✅ MER is currently ahead with FER not far behind. MCL does not look great after the first two practice sessions. We’ll need to see if FP3 can change that! In the midfield VRB looks the best, but the most important thing here will be avoiding DNFs. So feel free to pick the drivers you're the most confident will keep it on the track. Deadline is in about 5 hours! ⏰
