Leaving a @TMobile franchise store today when the worker says to my son and I after a brief discussion about work….”I am going to leave this country. I am so over America.” I don’t care what political party you are, we are still a great country with good and bad.

"To fund his golfing ambitions, McIlroy's parents took on extra jobs. Gerry worked 100 hours a week; he cleaned toilets and showers at a local sports club in the mornings, served as a bartender at Holywood Golf Club from 12 to 6 pm, then returned to the sports club to work behind the bar in the evenings. Rosie looked after Rory during the day, and worked night shifts packaging rolls of tape at a 3M factory in Bangor, County Down. Due to their conflicting schedules, McIlroy's parents rarely saw each other during this period. Gerry later said: "I had no idea what else to do. I’m a working-class man. We wanted to give our only child a chance."
After finding success as a professional golfer, McIlroy bought his parents a house in 2009, and stated: "I’ll never be able to repay Mum and Dad for what they did, but at least they know they’ll never have to work another day. I’ll do whatever it takes to look after them."

There was only one night game a year. On the 4th of July, the whole sky would brighten up with fireworks, giving us just enough light for a game. ⚾️📷🎇

Alex Rodriguez asked a question. Reggie Jackson answered it.
(Shouts to the producer and rest of the desk for staying out of Reggie’s way and just letting him talk. I doubt they expected this answer. But it’s a great few minutes of television.)

NEW: Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany visit shooting victims at Children’s Mercy Hospital after the Chiefs Super Bowl parade tragedy.
Thank goodness these kids are okay.
The girls you see, aged 8 & 10, are related to the woman who was killed.
The young girls were shot in the legs at the parade and are recovering after having surgery. They will have to remain in casts for a few months.
"While we are relieved by their progress, the emotional healing continues for all of us," the family said.
The girls are daughters of a cousin of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the woman who was killed.
Two teens have been charged in the shooting however their names have not been released.
