We took to the streets today to demand accountability from the people we have entrusted our taxes to, and to remind those in positions of power that leadership comes with responsibility.
Our demonstration was a call for transparency, justice and accountability. It was a reminder that the voices of ordinary citizens matter and that we cannot continue to sit back while issues affecting our lives and the future of our country go unaddressed.
Paying taxes is our responsibility as citizens, but ensuring that those taxes are put to good use is the responsibility of those entrusted with governing us.
We will continue to speak up, ask questions and demand answers. Our silence must never be mistaken for consent, and our patience must never be mistaken for acceptance.
Accountability is not a favour. It is a duty.

For years, they claimed that Akufo-Addo was a drug addict and repeated it, when u ask them for evidence they say wikileaks, yet those the bogus documents attributed the allegations to denied them openly, which wikileaks didn't come back to counter. Dr Kwesi Aning denied the remarks attributed to him, while Kwesi Pratt said he could not remember his exact response to the Americans and later said he didn't allege that.
