Mr. Ajaero is right. His organisation, NLC represents the junior workers while TUC represents senior staff. NLC has a right to pursue the interests of its members, alone, if need be, except where there's mutual interests for collaboration with TUC
VIDEO NEWS: "Why is TUC challenging what was gotten for the workers when we stated clearly that NLC was acting alone?" National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, reacts to the TUC rejecting the ₦70,000 transport allowance

Beautiful. The deepest gratitude is in pure joy.
I have watched these two adorable twins video over and over! You that have two legs, you are moody just because God hasn’t answered your prayers! But these twins are praising God even in their situations. They are dancing and enjoying it, creating beautiful contents. I love them and pray they will continue to live and excel in all they do. Mutuals, LEARN TO GIVE THANKS ALWAYS! GOD HAS BEEN GOOD TO US. THAT HE HASN’T DONE, HE WILL DO SHORTLY. Are you thanking him enough???

Building a better Lagos requires listening to our communities and working closely with the leaders who understand their needs. Today, I met with traditional rulers, Baales, chiefs, and respected royal fathers across Ikeja Division. I appreciate their wisdom, their deep connection to the people and the opportunity to hear their perspectives on the issues that matter most to their communities. Lasting progress comes through partnership, mutual respect and a shared commitment to the well-being of our people. I will continue to work with our traditional institutions to build a Lagos that is more inclusive and responsive to the needs of every community.

What can the Senate probe achieve? What's needed is executive action for massive enlightenment through the National Orientation Authority across multiple media. And opportunities to prosper at home

Looking forward to the actionable targets 👍.
On Friday, 30th of October, I will present my manifesto for Lagos, outlining my vision and priorities for the years ahead. My focus is to sustain our progress, address areas that need more attention and create opportunities for every Lagosian to thrive. The future of Lagos must put people first and our plans must reflect their hopes, concerns and everyday realities. From completing and connecting our rail lines, improving road and water transportation and expanding access to affordable housing, to strengthening security and upgrading healthcare across our 57 LGAs and LCDAs, we must keep making life better. Every community deserves safe roads, reliable public services and opportunities to prosper. Education, skills development and job creation will remain central to our vision. We must equip young people with the knowledge, technology and practical skills to succeed, support entrepreneurs and small businesses and ensure that talent translates into opportunity, regardless of background, gender, religion or place of origin. We must also protect our environment through better waste management, flood prevention, improved drainage and the protection of our coastal communities. We will continue to promote responsible governance, support traders and businesses and manage public resources to deliver real value. Progress is not just about how far we have come but how many lives we improve along the way. Building on the foundation laid by successive administrations, we must protect what works, improve what needs attention and embrace ideas that meet Lagos’ changing needs. My commitment is to a Lagos that is safer, more accessible, prosperous and inclusive. A Lagos where opportunity reaches every community and every resident has a stake in our shared future. Together, we will build on our progress and move Lagos forward with purpose, accountability and the people at the centre of every decision. That is my PROMISE.

Great development 👍
Nigeria’s postcode is more than an address. It is an opportunity to build smarter systems, improve location identification and strengthen the infrastructure that connects people, businesses and services. The conversation is happening now: Build on Nigeria’s Postcode. #DigitalPostcode

More widespread enlightenment is required to stop this cultural practice. Focus should be more on the health hazards rather than its legality.
Legally speaking, it is a crime to bury someone in a residential building or area without the consent of the Governor of the state. All dead bodies are expected to be buried in a public or privately approved cemeteries. The jurisprudence of this law is due to public health and environmental hazard; decomposing fluids from the graves or improper home burials can seep into the water table, risking the contamination of local hand-dug wells and boreholes. The issue here requires state’s intervention. It is rather unfortunate that the family is unable to agree on this and it shows there was never unity in the family in the first place.

Word 👌
The most politically naïve voters in Nigeria are urban residents. They often analyze national politics through the lens of their office spaces, Twitter timelines, and AC-chilled living rooms and draw sweeping conclusions. But step outside the urban bubbles, and you’ll find a completely different political reality. In rural areas and grassroots communities, voting decisions aren't shaped by manifesto debates or TV panels. They are largely driven by local power structures: high-ranking community elders, opinion leaders, traditional rulers, and religious figures. When these influencers speak, they set the direction. Their endorsement carries actual weight, and their word drives turnout on election day. Until urban analysts understand grassroots political machinery, they will keep getting election predictions wrong. And this reality isn't changing anytime soon.

Donald Duke has touched the Scorpion's tail......
“You were the Governor of Cross Rivers when Bakasi was seceded to Cameroon, you couldn’t do nothing because you were not a local champion.” — Diri Tackles Donald Duke Over Coastal Road comment, Says Bayelsa Terrain Is Conquerable! Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has fired back at former Cross River Governor, Donald Duke, insisting that roads and bridges can be constructed despite Bayelsa's difficult terrain. Diri also cautioned Duke over his alleged insulting posture on national television, declaring: "If you claim you don't know me, I don't likewise know you!"

Major media houses and analysts seem oblivious to these facts or are simply driving mischievous agenda. Reason why State Governors get away with so much irresponsible behaviours .
I won’t lie, the honorable minister is right here. I used to be one of those who parrot that the FG takes too much, but the fact is that the FG takes less and has more responsibilities relative to what it is earning. I now see it differently after a proper analysis of the numbers (s/o to @andrewfootie). The FAAC pool consists of two core revenue sources: statutory revenue and VAT. Things like petroleum taxes, petroleum royalties, government petroleum earnings, company income taxes, capital gain taxes, stamp duty, custom duties, excise duties, custom levies, etc are all statutory revenue sources. Statutory revenue sources account for roughly 70% of the FAAC pool. Based on the statutory sources, the FG takes 52% while the states & LG take 48%. Meanwhile, on VAT, the FG takes just 10%, while the states & LG take 90%. So in effect, the FG takes 52% of statutory revenue, and 10% of VAT. When you run the numbers, the FG takes an effective 30% of the entire FAAC pool while the states & LGs take 70%. In addition to that 70%, states enjoy 100% of personal income taxes. Therefore, if you factor the grand total of all revenue, the FG’s effective share is even smaller (maybe down to 25% thereabout). This is an anomaly. It shouldn’t be. The responsibilities of the FG (especially in context of fiscal policy) means that they should be earning more. For example, the share of the national govt in revenue pool: • Nigeria: 30% • South Africa: 49% • U.S.A: 66% • U.K.: 93% So on this one, I very well agree with the honourable minister of finance. 💫👌🏻

👏👏👏. Simply fantastic
MOGBE!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 This is, without a doubt, one of the deepest and longest Adamu Orisha chants I have ever heard. The fierceness, intensity, raw fury, commanding delivery, and sheer accuracy are second to none! I have shared a few stories about this extraordinary young woman under the tag “Bata Girl,” but she is far more than a phenomenal Bata dancer. She is a gifted artist, a passionate cultural ambassador, and a remarkable custodian of Yoruba culture, heritage, and traditional practices. Her name is Iremide Okunade, and she is one of those young Yoruba women reminding us that our cultural heritage is alive, powerful, and in capable hands. From the Bata drums to the sacred power of our chants, she embodies the beauty, depth, and living spirit of Yorubaland. Our culture is not merely something to admire; it is a legacy to preserve, practise, and pass on. And young custodians like Iremide are making sure that legacy never fades. Yoruba culture is alive! Àṣà wa ò ní ṣòfò! Àṣẹ! 🪇🔥🔥🪇🔥🔥

Prof, Sir, the issue is spectacularly simple: Did Anthony Kila obtain the qualifications and attain the positions he claimed in his CV? If so, he should present the evidence and clear all doubt. If not, he should own up to his fraud, apologise for it, and take his punishment like a man. Thank you, Sir. Hope you’ve been well.
