Stranded in Hokitia @grey_iSITE as @AirNZMedia refused to let me on the plane. I had cancel auck flight and was trying to sort onward travel and accomo for Chch. Forgot to check in ground crew brutal. No taxis no onward travel no hotel no help @Breakfaston1 @nzherald tiny airport
Thankfully one hotel @beachhotelhoki had a cancellation but otherwise I would have been completely stranded. No rental cars. Currently $550 out of pocket. Did get 📞 from @AirNZMedia said they would try to pay for one hotel night.

So after almost 17 months of banning teenage girls from school. The Taliban decide to BAN women from universities too.
Afghanistan is the ONLY country in the world that bans women and girls from going to school & university.
This is a crime against humanity & it must not stand.

It's been five years since the Paris agreement. Every year, storms, heat and human suffering intensify. But many of the wealthiest countries still haven't revised or kept their promises. The time to pledge higher for the planet is now. #FightFor1Point5 #5YearChallenge

We are sickened and disgusted by the outcome of this case. When a man choses to put his hands or arms around a women’s neck with the intent to harm her & strangle her – it is done with intent.
