📢 Announcement to Players, Creators, and the Press Regarding Blades & Battles
During testing of our demo version with the press and content creators, we identified an isolated issue in the video pipeline: on specific screen models when HDR is enabled, the game experiences severe distortion in the brightness and contrast curve, causing the image to appear almost entirely black and red.
We would like to clarify that this dark image does not reflect the game’s actual visual style or the quality of the final product.
What we’ve already done: The issue was identified by our development team and has been 100% fixed in the release build.
If you’re already playing the review version: we recommend temporarily disabling HDR in the video settings of your TV or console/PC. When running in SDR, the game displays its full color palette, environments, and lighting as they were originally intended.
A huge thank you to all the journalists and creators who reached out to our team to verify what happened and provide technical feedback before publishing their articles. This open dialogue is essential for independent development.
See you in the arena! ⚔️🔥

Of course we still have some special surprises for you all.
And that's why those kind of projects never ends. It is "so much passion" that they start 30+ stuff together, and never finish them. It is a standard on those people.

This is cool.
A new era is about to begin, both for AI improvements for system programming (which is the one I need and it is still lacking behind), and also opportunity for a "new" OS to rise.

Was replaying Mega Man X Collection, and remembered about the canceled Rockman Online game from a Korean company. It had the most epic trailers that merged both classic and X series worlds.

Brazil's authoritarian age verification law became active this month. It won't be implemented by GrapheneOS. Complying would require integrating a mandatory process for each user where a third party service checks government identification and confirms a match using the camera.
Revisiting my own hobby projects, looked again into my hobby programming language.
As regular C# and C/C++ (C 'with classes' here at ++) programmer, had some interaction with LLM agents about my goals with it, and looks like I will just end with a 'Swift' language clone.
But the more I read, seems like I should just try Swift after all, and my ideal language would be a merge of Swift and Odin (this is for the kind of work I do regularly).
Maybe I should try to write an emulator in each of those, to get a general varied feel of how they work.
In case curious, this is my current lang.

Would love some feedback about syntax, about what should be built-in or library, array and string as primitives or no.
