Most SEO agencies will never tell you this:
You can take a website to 100K visits/month in under a year.
Without backlinks, a massive team nor ads.
Just some YOLO SEO.
Do these 7 moves and you'll be playing in easy mode, I swear.
1. Topical map first: know what you're allowed to rank for before even getting started.
2. Rewrite the existing pages before writing new ones, and make sure you comply with your topical map.
3. 90-day editorial calendar, low-hanging fruit only in the beginning. We'll scale that later.
4. 100-200 pSEO pages on a real strategy (not spam). Preferably, you have proprietary data.
5. 3-5 free tools where the market has gaps. You know the ones "Free AI generators" of all types
6. 20-50 commercial pages that match buyer intent. Landings, commercial pages, etc.
7. Weekly optimization on content + internal links. Don't stop optimizign until you see that needle moving. Ok?
Want the full play?

Insane Reddit SEO HACK with Ahrefs:
1. Open Ahrefs, type reddit dot com on Site Explorer.
2. Add keyword you're interested in.
3. Filter by Keyword Difficulty (KD) low.
4. Check results, pick keywords, build content, internal links and backlinks.
5. Go to Reddit again. Post the content or a response and put a link with credit and contextualized commentary.
6 WIN: Now you're ranking your website and also earning the clicks from the Reddit Thread!
Most of you are throwing darts trying to "rank in ChatGPT" without ever dissecting what happens.
Here's an example and reason and why I always say to focus on Topical Coverage —instead of Keywords— to show up in ChatGPT
Example:
1. I just asked chatGPT to help me fix my neck pain.
It asked me a few follow up questions (what side of the neck, which provided more context) , and then ChatGPT did two rounds of query fan out.
2. The web search it used:
"neck upper trapezius stretch physical therapy illustration"
That query went to bing, Google, and other search-related partners.
The responses were all scored against each other, and ChatGPT offered a final answer that also also brought a few citations.
3. When you do that query search on Google, it brings a specific solution to my problem.
These are some of the page results I could see:
- How to Perform the Upper Trapezius Stretch
- THE NECK STRETCHING EXERCISES
- Neck Strectch to the Side (Upper trap stretch)
- Head Tilt (Upper Trapezius Stretch)
See how it didn't look for "How to fix neck pain", but instead focused on specific context and results.
If you wanted to rank and get cited you'd have to aim at topical coverage, which will give you better chances or earning the click.
I'm working on a tool to integrate this on roborank, probably will offer a free chrome extension as well.

what's not to like about getting free backlinks from high DR websites to show Google you really care about your own brand?
I’ve been doing SEO for travel for so long… but I’ve never helped enough travel companies.
If you’re in travel and need help, hmu. I want to see if I can help you :)
Do whatever you want, but the main thing you need to build a brand and become an authority is original, outrageously good content.
Just think about what’s common among the best pieces of content you’ve read and what are the brands you keep going back to…
I can bet they are not AI periot.
Stop paying absurd amounts of money to backlink & outreach "specialists".
Six months ago, I built a content asset for a client.
It earned TWO DR 82 backlinks on its own.
Real websites, with real traffic, niche-relevant, and linking because the asset deserved it.
The math: 100+ backlinks = about €3/each backlink (and lower every day)
I built a Claude Skill to help you build a similar asset on your own. Link in bio.
(or DM if you want a real person handling this for you)
This month marks yearh 18th since I started building affiliate websites.
They are still making money to this day.
I don't touch them much, just enough to keep them updated.
I'm embedding all this expertise into AI systems for others to elevate their work.
If you have to decide wether to invest in good content or backlinks, what will you choose?

32 votes • Final resultsWhen you launch a new website, go long-tail, obscure-tail and hit all the traffic signals.
You see, a new site has ZERO trust.
So you have to figure out how to get that initial trickle of traffic to be on Google's map.
This is how:
Go long-tail
Keywords so specific the big sites didn't bother. "podcast hosting with dynamic ad insertion for churches" is winnable on a new domain. "podcast hosting" is not.
and/or
Hit the obscure-tail
An ask many do, where there is no clear answer yet. If you look for "x premium invoice", my site theaudienz it's on the first 1-2 spots (I don't care about this site, but I wanted to illustrate the point a few years back, so I did that)
Other example: free tools can be obscure if you're first
Calculators, checkers, generators. Tools rank, get bookmarked and get linked naturally. One of my first vibe-coded apps, a small topical map generator, has made $741 on its own, just because there weren't many when I started it.
Traffic Signals > Backlinks
I know you were going to ask about backlinks. So yeah, you want some outside signals. But more important than backlinks is real traffic signals.
Build citation hubs and glossaries.
Get on directories.
Publish your site on social media.
Blast an email to colleagues and friends.
Send a press release.
You want REAL TRAFFIC signals.
This will take your site out of obscurity for good.
