I want to write a bot that correctly answers super difficult questions, but misspells everything and insists it's a mouse.

Really excited to share one of my favorite podcast conversations that I've recorded this year 😀 A really nice and in-depth discussion with @b3ll about building iOS app UIs that feel fast, smooth, and responsive! Hope you'll enjoy the episode 👍 swiftbysundell.com/podcast/1…

There are plenty of ways to stand out as a junior engineer without taking a back seat. A few that worked for me: 1. When you’re faced with an unfamiliar problem, break it down into smaller problems. You might even recognize pieces that you already know how to solve.

Okay y'all, I think I found the best idea for the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro. I added a cat that lives up there like a tamagotchi and just hangs out and does cute stuff as you browse Reddit in my app (Apollo).

🎓 Today I learned: In the #iOS simulator you can increase/decrease the dynamic font size with a very simple keyboard shortcut which is great for testing #accessibility through your apps. 👷 ⚙️ The two shortcuts are: ⌥ ⌘ + (increase font size) ⌥ ⌘ - (decrease font size)

iOS 16 finally lets your edit the “Known Networks List” on your device! I had hundreds in there, many I haven’t used in years.

Here's how to do it with your own pets: Take a nice portrait of them, then use DALL-E's edit photo tool to erase everything but their head. Give it a good caption and GO! #dalle2

There’s been some changes in iOS/iPadOS 16 to how view controllers appear in modal presentations. Split View controllers, in particular, change a lot. I have a LOT of info here (it’s long, perhaps too long, with many, many screenshots): hacknicity.medium.com/view-c…

This is great advice. Just start making games. Any games. That's how you learn. DOOM was my 90th game.
If you're trying to get into game design my advice is stop fucking thinking about "game design", stop watching video essays and game design analysis videos, and just fucking make a ton of little games with the design based on nothing but gut instinct.
