Over £31,000 now pledged towards my effort to climb Mont Ventoux; 35 months on from full paralysis caused by transverse myelitis. My attempt halted after 2-hours because my legs literally collapsed on the bike, but I went back 4 days later and finished the journey....

At last. Funny things: the train took loads of time to empty as there was a guy with a trailer (with broken down Merc on it) who had fallen asleep! Staff told us and loved it when I call him a twat! Then, the front toilets didn't work (option of walking 14 cars to the back)...
4-hour wait at Eurotunnel 🤬 So much for paying the upgrade price to give leeway either side of your booked time 🤬
