I was in Northern Italy with my friends over the weekend.
Ater listening to us speak Croatian for quite a while, a waitress asked whether we were German.
Pretty weird. I would have guessed that all Italians know what German sounds like since half of their neighbors speak it :)

One of the easiest ways to stand out when writing or creating videos or posting:
DONT. USE. AI.
Suddenly you sound distinctively different from 80%+ ppl who do and output the same verbose + nicely formatted stuff that feels all the same (+ most ppl stop paying attention midway)
The MCP Apps extension is sick.
I’m using it to visualize and edit fullstack web app architecture.
Works for green and brownfield projects.
Agent and I can add/edit nodes and then I can tell it to implement the plan in code when I’m satisfied.
This is just a prototype where Wasp, the fullstack framework, provides a local mcp server and makes visualization of apps easy due to its centralized abstractions (spec files)

My problem is that 98% of such contributions have obvious bugs.
They don't even bother to use AI that made the PR to review itself. That alone would catch most of them.
I'm fine with AI contributions, but at least also do an AI review first.
My hunch is that people don't bother spending their tokens on projects that are openly hostile or restrictive towards AI contributions. Nor according to where people who say things like "slop tokens" think they should go. mail-archive.com/libreoffice…
My twitter profile visits are growing by 10 000% per day.
If I keep it up, we'll be in the billions by Friday - better join while it's still early!
P.S. Twitter course coming out soon.
A chatbot asked me to rate it.
Since the options are grayed-out and listed in reverse order, I have a feeling the devs knew exactly how satisfied I would be :D

If agents are working alongside humans, a humans are reviewing code in that flow, the code should be _as reviewable as possible_.
Some examples of what I mean.
My buddy @filipsodic would first tell you to split refactor from actual changes, that makes each change more easily reviewable.
Another one, would be, don't do changes you don't need for the issue you are trying to tackle (don't muddy the waters)
What else?

Wasp is the first web framework to let you define an explicit "schema" for your web app.
Think of it as a database schema, but for auth, routes, cron jobs, data operations, email sending, and so on.
What your app does isn't anymore buried in the code, config files, and folder conventions, but has its own dedicated layer and lives next to your code.
This makes WebMCP even more important to learn:

A sneek peak at what agentic wallets look like.
In this example I
- built a Substack alternative on x402
- added agent-friendly API endpoints
- gave my agent a USDC wallet
- added /skills to make wallet features agent invocable
Cloudflare wallets will probably make this easy!
I took @steveruizok's advice & got an ESP32!
So much fun for ~$55.
I programmed it to display live stats from my online radio station, and use the built-in mic to transcribe and send messages in the station's chat :)
Here's everything I bought & how it works:
- Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.54" e-Paper AIoT board ($30) - Wi-Fi, mics, speaker, battery charging built in
- 3.7V 500mAh LiPo ($10)
- JST 1.25 connector adapters ($15 for 20)
- ESP32-S3 polls my radio's API over Wi-Fi every 20s → renders a "broadcast console" UI on the 200×200 e-paper
- Hold-to-talk: dual mics record → WAV upload → server transcribes w/ @OpenAI → posts to the live chat via websocket, pinned as the station owner (API-key auth)
- Backend is my @WaspLang app (React/Node/Prisma) on @Railway over 3 tiny endpoints: /status, /chat, /voice-chat
- Firmware: PlatformIO + Arduino, GxEPD2 for the display, Waveshare's ES8311 codec drivers for the mic - Runs on battery, fully standalone
Built the whole thing in a morning w Claude Fable 5. server endpoints, firmware. A really cool bit was mocking up possible UIs for the esp32 e-paper display using @claudeai's artifacts.

Shipping fullstack apps with Buzz is dope!
So easy.
Just tell it what tools to use & it handles everything for you -- building, testing, screenshots, etc -- and hands you back the link of your live app.
Here I used the wasp.sh fullstack framework for the app and railway.com to host it.
Thanks for having me! Let's hope I'm right :)
Will AI make programming languages irrelevant? 😲
Watch as @filipsodic argues the opposite: as AI writes more code, strong type systems become even more valuable. Learn why TypeScript isn't just surviving the AI era, it's becoming one of the best ways to capture intent, reduce bugs, and build better software.

I'm so excited to try this new app <> agent interaction mode. Basically, in your app, you expose an API endpoint which your agent uses to submit work and you get live feedback in the UI. LIke, you can hand off some work and then you continue.
(I know it's just giving an API to the agent, but still feels exciting)
Next week I'm speaking at @CascadiaJS in Seattle.
I've heard nothing but praise about the conference so definitely drop by if you can!
