You can criticise Starmer and Reeves for all sorts of things - insufficient honesty at the election, insufficient bravery now - but it is astonishing how comprehensively the last government ran the country into the fucking ground.

Looks like a newspaper owned by the Fourth Lord Rothermere, who inherited it from the Third Lord Rothermere, who inherited it from the Second Lord Rothermere, who inherited it from the First Lord Rothermere, is bitterly opposed to Labour's plans for inheritance tax

At some point perhaps the MSM should focus on whether this guy has some sort of mental condition that makes him a pathological liar on a level that no one else in our political history has ever approached, and that maybe this goes to whether he’d make a good president?
Trump: Your child goes to school and they take your child. It was a he and comes back a she. And they do this. And often without parental consent.

In 2022 alone, the Tories took over £62k in donations from Lubov Chernukhin. The wife of Putin’s ex finance minister. Post invasion, to be clear. Weekly meetings with the PM and chancellor. No outage or headlines despite national security risks. Why wasn’t THAT on the news?

When people complain that there's a double standard for Trump, they are wrong: there is literally no standard. He can say absolutely insane things like they are giving kids sex change operations in schools and it won't even get a single headline.
Trump: Can you imagine you're a parent and your son leaves the house and you say, Jimmy, I love you so much. Go have a good day in school and your son comes back with a brutal operation.

A candidate for President of the United States posts that his opponent used “blow jobs” to further her career. Why isn’t he being asked about this? And how many ministers are going to support him in spite of it?

It's far nastier to paint over a children's Disney mural at an asylum seeker dentention centre than to take down a portrait of Thatcher at 10 Downing Street. Tell me I'm wrong.

You probably know the start of this Olympic story, but do you know how it finished? This photo is of Eric Moussambani, aka 'Eric the Eel' from Equatorial Guinea, competing in the 100m Freestyle event at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, alone. Why? /1

Now that prisoners - including some convicted of violent crimes - are being released early due to overcrowding, it is even more outrageous that peaceful climate protesters face jail. The Tories' authoritarian anti-protest laws must be repealed.

Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8

I can categorically say I’ve never loathed a political party like I loathe this Tory party. I’ve never felt this angry about what a govt has done to our country. And never thought that a bunch of politicians deserved the total crushing defeat these Tories do. How many agree?
