Still processing the massive election loss for Republicans - all I can say is at least the borders will stay closed for 2 more years. But beyond that, I am just hoping Dems don't steamroll through legislation at the state and local level that will impact my day-to-day life

Let me tell you something absolutely BONKERS from last night’s midterms… Democrat Ericka Lomick just “won” Texas House District 93 despite being a convicted felon who suspended her campaign months ago. She pleaded guilty in 2011 to federal charges including mortgage-fraud conspiracy, bank fraud, and money laundering. Her sentence? 63 months in federal prison. On her candidate paperwork, she checked the box claiming she had not been finally convicted of a felony. After her criminal record surfaced in September, she suspended her campaign and stopped running. But Texas election deadlines had already passed, so her name remained on the ballot for both the regular general election and the special election. And voters still elected her by roughly 51–49%. Here’s the kicker: Under Texas law, a final felony conviction generally makes someone ineligible to hold office unless they’ve been pardoned or had their disabilities released. Meaning she can’t actually serve. Her “victory” simply creates a vacancy and triggers yet another special election. A convicted federal fraudster who quit campaigning still got elected to the Texas House. Let that absolutely sink in.

They discriminated against White people, so now they have to pay a fine to the government that the government will re-distribute to non-White people.

Street truth vs. staff spin. The street said, “We want you here. Keep going.” The memo upstairs said, “Tone it down.” I always believed the gatekeepers were watering down what the President heard. Look at this article. Coincidence, or confirmation?

Conservatives. They hold decisive edges in private gun ownership (roughly 45% of Republicans vs 20% of Democrats), military and veteran lean (veterans 63% Republican), and police forces. Rural areas that produce food and energy also tilt heavily their way. Urban centers have more people and economic hubs but depend on those supply lines. In a pure force-on-force scenario the material and personnel advantages favor one side.

I’m pissed just watching this. I can only imagine how the homeowner feels.
We let in millions with zero vetting, then hand some of them a badge before anyone checks if they've heard of the Fourth Amendment. Thanks to Trump's generational fumble we're about to let a million more in.

MeToo "pioneer" MIT scientist who drove a professor to the brink of su*cide with false r*pe allegations after he broke up with her, told him she wanted to feel like she was "gang r*ped." Professor David Sabatini has been awarded $6M after his former colleague, Dr. Kristin Knouse, defamed him with completely false allegations. The MeToo community praised Knouse when she came out with her allegations. Sabatini's entire career was destroyed by the false allegations as his colleagues all rushed to defend the woman who lied about him. He also tried taking his own life by hanging himself, according to the Daily Mail. Newly released texts reveal that Knouse, 38, was the one who pursued Sabatini, 58, and it wasn't until he left her for another woman that she accused him of r*pe. After the breakup, she texted a friend that he was going to get "Weinstein-ed out of science." "My lawyers and I are out for blood... prison is what he should get," she said. She praised how "hopelessly defeated, beyond the violence stage," he was after his career was ruined. But text messages show that Knouse pursued him and sent him graphic texts. "I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and feel like I've been gang r*ped," she said in one text message. Knouse accused Sabatini of making her feel "scared" by his advances, but evidence showed that *she* aggressively pursued him. When he decided to pursue a different scientist, Knouse ended his career with false accusations. Sabatini's entire life was destroyed by the woke mob. They fired him from the Whitehead Institute and MIT, and erased his name from papers. She purposely left key evidence and text messages out when handing over information to investigators that would have proved Sabatini was innocent. She should never see the outside of a prison cell.

Knock out the ban on congressional stock trading in the lame duck session. Better to be late in doing the right thing than refuse to do the right thing. Make sure it applies to the executive branch as well.
Thank you @GovRonDeSantis ! They should have listened!

We said “Never forget” then imported 2 million of them and elected them to the government
Congratulations, Abdul El-Sayed. You turned that inshallah into alhamdulillah. I am overwhelmed with gratitude knowing that we will now have 8 Muslims serving in Congress. They told us we couldn't speak up, couldn't challenge the status quo, and couldn't make it this far. But we did. Alhamdulillah.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Gov. Ron DeSantis just BLEW UP and went on an America first RAMPAGE on national TV "I saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE." "THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT." "They say, 'oh, if only we needed 50 votes we would've done it!' YOU DON'T HAVE 50 VOTES. You NEVER SHOWED you'd do conservative things, even with 50 votes! [RE: filibuster]...I NEVER saw an indication that they'd do it." "This midterm was a rebuke of the president and Congress...BUT, a LOT of our voters stayed home because they were FRUSTRATED with the LACK of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate." A fire was just lit under this man. Honestly have not seen him get that fired up in a LONG time We definitely deserved better from our Senate. Now, we need to repair and win in 2028, or Democrats are destroying America!
