Firewatch Bot

Updated @firewatchbot : - Added a "before" sat image to the tweets - Added cool world map on firewatch.space/map

They fixed it, yay! @firewatchbot is working again 🥳

@firewatchbot has been down since 05/21 because the source dataset (registry.opendata.aws/sentin…) isn't getting updated anymore, it seems. I emailed @Element84, hopefully it's just a temporary issue.

@firewatchbot was rate-limited again for the past two days. I'm unsure as to why, since the usage is below the official API limits. Nonetheless, it's back up and running... at least for the time being!

@firewatchbot is currently unable to post new tweets. Its twitter API key stopped working today (Jun 14th) around midnight UTC and I'm unable to create a new key. No explanation, no email received. No way to create a support ticket. No answer from @TwitterDev @TwitterAPI so far.

Working on an object detection AI model for @FirewatchBot, using #YOLOv5. It seems to be starting to work well for detecting active fires in Sentinel-2 satellite images 🔥 Soon Firewatch v2? 🤓

@firewatchbot was down for the last 24h but it should now be working again, with less false positives. 🚀
