This is something we've been working on as a small side quest.
We've almost rebuilt the SmackDown 2 game in Unreal Engine 5.
This SDReloaded Engine will be released for Free, open source on Github when done for non-commercial reasons, ghouls don't get any ideas.

Obvious things to clean up (aprons etc), but it's cool to see how they rendered the characters off screen and had them appear in through the tron.

FSR Frame Generation gets more consistent frame pacing, for smoother gameplay.
Ray Regeneration is coming to more games.
And soon, FSR is coming to Vulkan. Another way for developers to bring it into their games.
And don’t worry, we are working hard to bring FSR to more APUs in the future.

🚨 Progress Update - I’m stepping away from modifying the original PC exe for MVP 2005. The work I'd been doing keeps dragging me back into XP/D3D8-era tooling and native capture requirements that's hard to support through 2026 tech.
Emulating MVP is fine, but FFS I had hope...
