Once again, every single leaf, every blade of grass, absorbs CO2. The sludge in the bottom of your pond, your lawn, the wood of trees, the soil (if you look after it) holds CO2. (1)

Barnbougle Castle is full of incredible settings... one of our favourites has to be its epic stone staircase!
Here are some of our favourite stair shots - which one is top of your list? 🪜

So much here about huge lack of insects. Please, if you have outside space let grass grow long, grow native plants. If you can (and I know many can't), buy organic food. Talk to people, VOTE. We can make a difference but we have to work together. For our swifts. For our future.
Please, where are the swifts? I didn’t see a single one yesterday. The usual gang of 20 at my allotment is just 4 this year. I could go on. I know they’re declining but this seems a big drop from last year. Is it just Brighton? Did they not come? Does anyone know? 🥺 @swifts_uk

Here is Boris Johnson writing about the predicament he finds himself in, and why he still can’t bring himself to resign.
It’s surprisingly honest and insightful. Possibly because he wrote it in 2006, about Tony Blair.
ALT I am too lazy to type up the full text, but the gist is “we never know when our time is up” and “we are just terrified of the come-down”
ALT The gist: “no more outriders, no more adrenaline… oh no, he thinks, he can’t face that loss”
ALT The whole quote this time: “All politicians are masters of procrastination, but there is no day they find easier or more natural to postpone than the day of their own resignation.”

I’m looking for someone with a metal or stone workshop IN EDINBURGH who could lend/sell/give us some small offcuts that we could use for a photoshoot this weekend and next week? Do you happen to know anyone who would be able to help? 50cm up to 1 m sizes.

Please reconsider before picking up anything else but plant feed from these shelves. Pretend they don’t exist. Nature and future generations will thank you, as will your health. This is not gardening. There are no ‘quick fixes’ without consequences.
