it might sound pretty hippie, but BEING HERE NOW is the closest thing to a purification of all space-time-karma i've found. relax, breathe, ground, let go, be present, allow, surrender trust… be present like this moment is an eternity, the best story ever told, and eventually U will find God
Shits going down

To master any craft you first have to be an amateur at it.
Which etymologically means “lover” or “friend” (of the craft)
Sometimes when I’m soloing I will play the dopest thing ive ever played in my whole life and then in the very next moment I will forget how to play the piano
Today I heard one of my favorite living pianists say that music doesn’t define him, so he doesn’t beat himself up after a gig if he feels he played poorly
And that did a lot for me
Update: Finished the Book,
It absolutely did change my life, yep.
I believe in reincarnation now? /Probably
Someone invited to an event on Partiful that had no “Maybe” option and now I might have no maybe option for all my events ever for the rest of time
Someone not RSVPing at all or delaying their RSVP may be better than a “maybe” RSVP, which reinforces non-commital culture
