i have questions. i have infinite questions and no answers. i don't really know how to think, how to feel. it's a liminal space, to be a woman sometimes.
"It is hard, as a fan of a male sport where the men have immense power and wealth and their egos are fed every day, to be a woman who is acutely aware of the vulnerability that women have to men."

The root of Elias Pettersson's resurgence through 18 games is the healthier environment around the Canucks and the better headspace he brought into training camp.

Do I like the team I cover and want them to succeed? Sure. I spend a lot of time on them and believe in them. But if I ever get to a point where I canβt criticize them or see them as objectively as possible, Iβm not doing my job

There was no doubt in Katie Chanβs mind that she would remain a member of the #Goldeneyes after an exciting inaugural season.
I spoke with her about her contract extension, off-season in VAN, and the upcoming season.

I would rather a team go 0-84 on the season than be captained by someone who blatantly doesnβt want to be there. Let alone if that person buddied up to fascists and the misogynistic disparaging of his own fellow Team USA athletes 2 months later. but whoβs to say!

These types of questions always make me laugh, hockey is one of the only major sports where people sing the virtues of cities where they donβt care as much about the game
