The Liberals say this year's deficit is $62.3 billion, but page 336 of their own budget says they need to BORROW $149.5 BILLION.
Their stated deficits over the next 5 years?
$289 billion
ACTUAL BORROWING needs over the same 5 years?
$765 billion‼️
The gap is the loans, Crown corporations, defence and other capital purchases.
IT’S STILL BORROWED MONEY.
It just doesn’t show up in the deficit they put in the headline.
Our taxes carry the interest either way.
