Cold, hard fact is @LAKings are, imo, shockingly low in talent compared to most teams. 2 highly skilled players in Breadman & Kempe (w/Panerin being only true elite) & roster of lunch pail guys. That's problem. This is on org & KH.

I think @EASPORTSNHL is good. After zeroing game speed, puck cntrl, accuracy & hitting.
But, special teams (huge in NHL), are abysmal. AI PP don't set up, AI PK don't clear. All attack like was 5v5. Goalie never play puck.
Pls fix.

By what @pritchettdavid said w/NoSleeves, @EASPORTSNHL Orchestrater shld tell a story. 2002's Game Story did better job. New direction can be good tho.
Overlay ideas:
-Coach stats/profiles
-zone possession breakdown
-SOG chart
-line overlay bottom needs refresh
@TheBigWinMike
To @pritchettdavid @TheBigWinMike @EASPORTSNHL
Orchestrater presentation ideas.
Big one:
-PP/PK % & rank stats. It's criminal not to have this. It's in EVERY broadcast.
Plus:
-player stats
-line photos
-ref voices on penalties
-standings
-+/-, PIMs
Or look at NHL 2004. :)
I have made @EASPORTSNHL 27 more realistic & sloppy. But PLEASE address 3 huge flaws.
-Cpu takes 95% slapshots. Few wristers, backhands
-Cpu special teams same as 5v5. No setting up PP, no clearing on PK
-Goalies don't play puck. Unrealistic.

With all due respect to pxp legend John Kelly, I love @JoshSchaeferPxP on the pxp call. He's great & I put him up there with former King voice @AlexFaustTNT as young talent. We're lucky to have them & Foxy. Great job, Josh.

I actually think the @LAKings should go after Connor Hellebuyck. Do I wish we'd just do a full fledge youth rebuild like Anaheim and San Jose? Absolutely.
Is it going to happen with Luc and Ken Holland? Absolutely not.
So might as well get an elite goalie like CH.
To the @EASPORTSNHL devs. Can you please, PLEASE address the AI constantly using slapshots in unrealistic situations? Wristers from the point are so common in real life but not in your game.
Appreciate you.

Main gripe w/@EASPORTSNHL 27, gameplay wise, is AI just takes slapshot after slapshot. Can't believe this hasnt been addressed.
Lots of presentation wants (PP/PK % & ranks) but 1 we need is closeup & ref audio on penalties. That should be there.

To @KingsMenPodcast @JimFox19 @LAKings @MayorsManor. Just an honest question. When is the last time an extremely veteran-laden (I.E. older) roster made it deep in the playoffs?
I am a huge @Senators fan (from NC) all because the amazing calls of @PxPOttawa (Dean Brown) & @GordWilson. Thank you, gentleman.
Absolute best calls in sports.
Thnx to @TheBigWinMike @pritchettdavid for new presentation in @EASPORTSNHL. A ways to go to TSN level but w/Bucci/Panger, foundation is there.
Presentation/immersion is vital. For years, I've listened to @PxPOttawa (Dean Brown) & Gord Wilson. To me, they ARE hockey.
Enjoy Bucci/Panger on commentary for @EASPORTSNHL
27. However, presentation should tell more of a story. Every real broadcast shows game/season PP/PK % & ranking yet it's completely absent. Why? That's crucial info. Much more than threat analysis. @pritchettdavid
@TheBigWinMike
Thank you for your efforts, @pritchettdavid @TheBigWinMike. Really enjoy new presentation as a new baseline. Much, much more realistic which is better. Is it possible any of my ideas might see light of day in an update?
To @EASPORTSNHL. Please add this PP/PK pop up stat to presentation. Every single broadcast has it. Pretty please?

#NHL27
Since #NHL27's big thing is presentation (which I totally applaud), can we please, please get a modern line overlay like TSN and replace this one? This overlay has been here forever. Fresh coat goes long way.
