Chicago O'Hare, July 1973. Our L-1011 TriStar N31009, two months after she joined our fleet, wearing the original twin-globe look on her tail. She flew for us for 20 years before moving on to Air Ops in 1993.

Among the hardest parts of my job are the goodbyes. After 26 years, my dear friend Gordon has decided that *93* is the age to hang up his @ChartwellNT name badge, and today was his last day with us.
While I am truly saddened to be losing him from our ranks, I feel so lucky to have known him through my 13 years at the Churchills' home, and feel very fortunate to be surrounded by the most wonderful people - staff and volunteers- in my role as Curator of Chartwell.

I'm heading into Adelaide on the obahn. I know some of you are interested in public transport. The obahn system carries 30,000 commuters each day and I use it regularly. I'm a big fan.
