Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.

This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about โ€œNATO not being there for Americaโ€ is perfect. "Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage. You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail. Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates. Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you. And youโ€™ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban in Afghanistan thanked you very much for losing again. And you're calling Greenland poorly run? Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no. 'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years. And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess. So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth." Credit to: Jim Keller

He skipped school, withdrew ยฃ200, bought a one-way ticket to London, and disappeared. Nobody has seen him since. On September 14, 2007, 14-year-old Andrew Gosden left his family home in Doncaster, England, and appeared to be heading to school as usual. Andrew was a bright teenager with an excellent school attendance record. His family had no reason to suspect that anything was wrong. But that morning, he never arrived at school. Instead, he waited until his family had left home, returned to the house, changed out of his school uniform and put on a black Slipknot T-shirt, black jeans and Vans trainers. He also took his PlayStation Portable. Then he walked to the railway station. He bought a one-way ticket to London On his way to the station, Andrew withdrew ยฃ200 from his bank account, almost emptying it. He bought a one-way ticket to London King's Cross. The ticket seller reportedly offered him a return ticket for less than ยฃ1 extra, but Andrew declined. At approximately 9:36 a.m., he boarded a train to London. He travelled alone, carrying his belongings and playing on his handheld game console during the journey. The train arrived at King's Cross at around 11:20 a.m. CCTV footage captured Andrew leaving the station about five minutes later. It was the last confirmed sighting of him. He was just 14 years old, alone in London, and his family had no idea where he was. His family discovered he was missing That evening, Andrew's family expected him to return home from school. When he did not appear, they began searching for him. They discovered that he had not attended school and eventually learned that he had withdrawn money and travelled to London. His father, Kevin Gosden, and the rest of the family were desperate for answers. Andrew had not told them about the trip. He had not arranged a known place to stay, and there was no confirmed evidence that he had planned to meet anyone. Why had he travelled to London? Did he intend to return home that evening? Had he arranged to meet somebody? Nobody knew. The trail went cold Police investigated possible sightings and followed numerous leads, but none established what happened after Andrew left King's Cross station. His family continued appealing for information, and missing-person organisations helped keep his case in the public eye. Andrew had light brown hair, brown eyes and wore strong prescription glasses. He was also deaf in his left ear and had a distinctive double ridge on his right ear. Investigators later released age-progressed images showing how he might look as an adult. Years passed without a confirmed sighting. Two men were arrested In December 2021, police arrested two men on suspicion of offences including kidnapping as part of the investigation into Andrew's disappearance. The arrests renewed hopes that the case might finally be solved. However, the men were later released from the investigation. By September 2023, police had confirmed that they had been eliminated from the inquiry. The arrests produced no answers about Andrew's whereabouts. What happened to Andrew Gosden? More than 19 years have passed since Andrew disappeared. He would now be in his thirties. Investigators know that he left Doncaster, withdrew money, bought a one-way ticket to London and arrived at King's Cross. What happened after he walked out of the station remains unknown. There is no confirmed evidence establishing whether Andrew was abducted, harmed by someone he met, or deliberately disappeared. His family has spent years searching for answers, without knowing whether he is alive or what happened to him. A 14-year-old boy travelled to London alone. A camera recorded him leaving the station. Then every confirmed trace of him disappeared. Someone may know what happened that day. Even a small piece of information could help investigators understand where Andrew went. Nearly two decades later, his family is still waiting for answers.

I'm an American, a U.S. Army veteran, and I live in Europe. And I'll tell you something that might upset a few people back home. I want my fellow Americans to enjoy the same rights, freedoms, and quality of life that millions of Europeans already enjoy. I want Americans to have access to affordable healthcare without worrying about going bankrupt because they got sick. I want American students to pursue higher education without burying themselves in decades of debt. I want Americans to enjoy stronger digital privacy laws, meaningful consumer protections, paid parental leave, and guaranteed paid vacation. I want police officers held to rigorous standards of accountability, where de-escalation is emphasized and deadly force is genuinely a last resort. I want Americans to understand that freedom isn't just about what the government cannot do to you. It's also about having the security and opportunity to actually enjoy your life. And before someone starts screaming about socialism, understand something. European countries are capitalist democracies. They have private businesses, entrepreneurs, private property, competitive markets, and individual liberties. They've simply made different decisions about what protections their citizens should enjoy. Europe isn't perfect. No place is. But pretending America has nothing to learn from other democracies is ridiculous. I served my country. I love my country. And I don't believe patriotism requires pretending that America is the best at everything. In fact, I believe the exact opposite. Real patriotism means wanting your country to improve, even when that means admitting another country does something better. I don't want Americans to have fewer freedoms. I want them to have MORE. More protections. More opportunities. More security. More accountability. More freedom to live their lives without being financially destroyed by illness, education, or circumstances beyond their control. And having lived on both sides of the Atlantic, I know that much of this is possible. We should stop asking why Americans can't have these things and start asking why they're expected to settle for less.

If you want to know Russiaโ€™s TRUE intentions, there is no point in listening to what is said outside its bordersโ€”listen to what is being said INSIDE Russia. A recent review of Russian media by @BBCSteveR is an excellent example of the actual sentiment prevailing in Russia regarding a peace deal or compromise. Russians are eager to continue their barbaric war in Ukraine, and without real pressure on the Russian economy and war machine, the situation will not change.
