Pullbacks get the attention.
Trend structure tells the story.
Zooming out matters.
I use the 30/200 SMA on the weekly to keep the bigger picture in view.
It’s not just about price being above them.
Directionality matters:
Rising = bullish
Flat = neutral
Falling = bearish
Hierarchy matters too:
Price > 30W > 200W
Price above both, with the 30W above the 200W.
When both averages are also rising, you have bullish alignment across price, the primary trend, and the long-term trend.
That’s a different story than price simply sitting above two flat or declining averages.
Price. Structure. Direction.
$BB is a good example of why the 30/200W matter. Price broke out first, but the more important confirmation came as the 30W turned higher, moved above the 200W, and began separating from it while the 200W shifted from declining toward neutral. That developing hierarchy and directionality helped show the breakout was becoming a larger trend, not just a short-term move. Now, after the run higher, $BB is starting to probe back toward the rising 30W SMA — a good test of whether that primary trend can continue to act as support. 👀 #DYOR #NFA
Which leads me to the next ticker I’m actively watching: $PGY. This is the kind of weekly setup I like to catch before the trend fully develops. Price is starting to work around the 30W and 200W, the 30W is curling higher, and the 200W is flattening after a long decline. If price can reclaim and hold above both, the next thing I want to see is the hierarchy start to build: Price > 30W > 200W. That’s how a longer-term trend transition can begin. #DYOR #NFA
Despite the recent sell-off, the market still offers plenty of opportunities. You just have to look across different names and sectors to see where the big players are rotating.

$ASTS says intermittent service will begin in key markets before year-end with access to ~100 MHz of U.S. spectrum including 55 MHz from carrier partners and 45 MHz from Ligado.
The focus now shifts to getting more BlueBird satellites into orbit as AST targets 5,600 U.S. coverage cells by year-end from ~3,000 today with continuous service planned for 2027.

No wonder TradingView Devs have been dropping new features left and right. Very interested in checking out what Lux is cooking up!
Plenty of teams are building alternatives to TradingView right now. All of them are closed source.
We think that's the wrong approach for the next twenty years of charting.
So today we're open sourcing Vela.
A complete charting engine, built from scratch. Rendering, data handling, drawing tools, everything.
Charts shouldn't belong to one company.
