Assimilation is (still) a lie.
In 2026 only 37% of Hispanics born in the US identified as American.
Only 29% of second-generation Hispanics (born to immigrant parents) identify as Americans.
This increases to 48% among the third generation.
"The Melting Pot" is the great myth of multicultural America.
Nationality is created by God.
“And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place”
Superb answer.

The value of the nation is assumed in Gods command to the Israelites to wage total war, driving out all occupants of the promised land.
The validity of national borders is assumed throughout Israel’s national history, most obviously in the story of Nehemiah.

America, more than any other nation in world history, was shaped by the Christian tradition of spreading the gospel unto all nations.

How was he working without a green card? Isn’t that illegal? Did he have an H1-b visa? Was he a seasonal worker on an H2-a? Is he an athlete on a P-1a? Joel is burying the guy by promoting him and defending him. If Sey gets deported, outside of his own actions, Joel will be the number one person responsible.
Thank you for all who have donated! Please keep it going. We can all support ICE and support the rule of law (as Samuel unapologetically does) while showing kindness to a family dealing with such a difficult situation.
This family fully believed there was a green card in process. They had submitted all their paperwork to a lawyer, and had no idea something was amiss.
I appreciate the kindness shown by so many over the past few days. Too many people think our hardline stance for border security and law enforcement also must require personal cruelty, and so many of you are proving them wrong.
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. ♥️
It doesn’t usually take 4+ years for a K1 visa holder to get a green card.
I hope the US government doesn’t reject my green card application for this…but…Let’s go, Wales! #FIFAWorldCup
If it’s the case that Sey came into the United States fraudulently and not on the appropriate visa and/or worked without having the proper authorization, and is rightly deported. There will be a lot of people who will never mention him again and never call him to repentance.
Some may do so behind the scenes, and that is to be commended. However they will likely not say anything in public about it. This will give their opponents further advantage over them. Every time they refuse to call out the sin on their side their hypocrisy chips away a little bit more at their credibility.
Whether or not Samuel Sey had work authorization should be the easiest thing in the world to prove. Just say what authorization document gave him that privilege. The issue is of course that he may not have actually had such an authorization. Which means he has sinfully lied and deceived people or was so incompetent and negligent as to put countless others in jeopardy, including his own family. Should he have the authorization and be here legally but for a clerical snafu then that’s another matter altogether and it will no doubt be remedied.
If what @RHPalmerston3 and the @DHSgov say about Sey's legal status is correct, there's serious implications for entities that paid him as a contractor for writing, speaking, and advocacy...
DHS says Samuel Sey overstayed his visa by FOUR YEARS.
Okay, then how exactly was he getting paid to teach, write, speak, and podcast in the United States?
If BCA, G3, Doug Wilson-affiliated ministries, CCV, or other organizations were compensating him, what did their onboarding and tax compliance look like?
W-9 or W-8 on file? 1099s issued? I-9 completed if he was an employee? Did anyone bother establishing whether he was legally authorized to work?
Because the potential fallout here extends well beyond Sey himself.
Failure to file required information returns can trigger IRS penalties and withholding liabilities. Misclassifying employees as contractors can expose organizations to unpaid payroll taxes. And knowingly contracting for unauthorized labor can create an entirely separate immigration-law problem.
The question isn't whether these organizations agree with Sey politically. It's whether they exercised even rudimentary due diligence when engaging and compensating him.
If they didn't, this could become a rather expensive lesson in the difference between ideological solidarity and basic organizational governance.
I'm curious how many of these ministries have their paperwork in order.
Tonight, Cardiff Castle will light up green to mark Dwarfism Awareness Day. 💚
The illumination celebrates diversity and helps raise awareness and understanding of dwarfism. orlo.uk/S4Qel
Thoughts @TwitlessComics ?
The commies keep winning because they are willing to work outside the rules of the system. Your dedication to fairplay and rule following is commendable, however a strict adherence to a man made system of rules of order is not going to keep them from murdering you to keep power.
I watched a k drama once about an autistic lawyer. A couple of episodes in was about how conservative Presbyterians were mean and bigoted against a Buddhist lesbian.
